Mindless Levelling up... (Missions and Lvs)

I know some Missions have lv caps.

But is there a good minium lv for Missions.

For example, I lv, do a mission, lv some more do a mison and so on.

Depends on the missions in question:

City missions:
Rank 2: Somewhere between level 5 to 20, depending on the mission
Rank 3: Level 25
Rank 4: Somewhere around level 40
Rank 5: Somewhere around level 50
Rank 6: Somewhere around level 60
Rank 7-9: Somewhere between 60-70
Rank 10: Should be level 70+

Rise of the Zilart:
Only ones that really seem to matter much are mission 8 (should be level 60+) and mission 14 (should be level 70+). Everything else is pretty negotiable, and you can breeze by with less if you've got really kind high level friends.

Chains of Promathia:
Chapter 1: Level 30
Chapter 2: Level 40
Chapter 3: Level 40, but you'll need high level (70+) jobs or friends
Chapter 4: Level 50
Chapter 5: Level 50, but again, you'll need high level (70+) jobs and/or friends
Chapter 6: Level 60, and you need some high level (70+) jobs and/or friends
Chapter 7: Uncapped, recommend level 70+. Need a full party of ~70+.
Chapter 8 and 9: Level 75, or LOTS of level 70+ help.

Treasures of Aht Urhgan:
Minimum level of 50 to participate in Assault.

I enjoy levelling up in a good PT ^^ Seeing EXP going up is fun for me.

I enjoy weird pt that give decent or good exp, like rdm tanking at lv 70 or going to some new places to level or 4 person pt which is all fun and a challenge to do well.

I like leveling too, sometimes. IF it's a bad party for EXP, then I hate it. If it's either a good one/fun one/odd one, I love it ;P You'll be suprised the things my party's talk about o.O
But, if you don't like leveling that much, theres still missions to look forward too, and quests, and all this new hype on Chocobo Raising. Also, giving Ballista/Brenner a try would be fun.

Making a Static Party would help, too. That mean's you would level with 4-6 people whom you already know, and you have a blast in every party, making good EXP, and having fun talking with friends in the process ;P

Parties that kill mindlessly in silence drive me to insanity, especially when my LS are all busy doing something else.

I like talking about random crap while I'm exping.

I agree - the quieter the party, the more crap I talk in ls.

kinda the reason i quit the first time, because all i was doing was leveling, farming, mining, and it got harder and harder to find parties to level up so i can mine in the better mines...and it was just too time consuming for little gain...but I am enjoying the game again

If someone starts talking about random stuff in a PT or just rubbish I'll generally join in unless its effecting their capabilities with their job. If alls well tho it does help the time pass alot faster and you feel like your getting a level every hour or so. I dont really like to start the drivel tho incase someone is offended and I get told off hehe. But yea, theres always your linkshell to annoy xD

I hear you. God forbid someone should be leveling a mule, or playing a new character or something. I can't count the number of times my level and rank has been thrown in my face as a reason not to take anything I say seriously.

But on topic:

As a BLM, parties will really go pretty quickly you'll find. It has a bit of a slow start (especially as a Taru, since you go down in just a few hits), but once you start grouping, that's no longer a problem, and you just stand in the back lines and keep things moving along from there. It's a much better situation.

Not at all. Grinding can be a lot of fun, especially if your group works really well together, and you guys can tear through the exp. It's a great feeling.^^

Hearing that the game was largely grinding is what convinced me to buy it. >.> I find the process relaxing.
