That one that SE patches that still happens sometimes? Where you fall through the floor? Well that just happened to me during Assault in Mamool JA Trainging Grounds... but for once it was helpful. My party was on the first gate, and the mamool kept on using warm-up. Then, my char. fell through... and bounced up on the other side >.> I hit the pot hatch and we won.

Shortest. Assault. Ever.

Yes, that assault is broken. SE needs to fix it so that a gate MUST be domolished to click the pot hatch.


As it is, people can solo it with hacking tools.

you do, but people cheating it is getting pretty bad.


I've had at least three friends ask if there was a way to solo it, because they got in a pickup group, and someone said to "Just Wait near The Enrance"

Huh... I can see where that might be a problem now. At least there is only one assault you can do this to >.>

Yes, smn's do this very easily. Our ls smn's took people there to leech and everyone was cracking up. I prefer to do it the right way but I can see why this would be tempting to people. I'm sure SE will get wind of it eventually and do something about it but it will probably take them a while as usual. LOL

Either way, I suspect that Assaults will be monitored by GMs, similar to how ENMs and BCNMs are.

Whats the point of hacking?, if its so easy to do it takes the fun and challenge aspect out of it, or is this another trick used by gillsellers to get the items to hike up the economy again.

Whats the point of cheating, if your going to cheat its not worth playing the game the whole point of it is to work as teams to fight a common goal.

One of these days you kids who think its "cool" to cheat will realise this someday, it doesn't do you any good and it makes things unfair on other people who do things properly.

If you ever go to a hacking forum (I'd reccomend one not for FFXI, easier to find), you'll see how little these people care about rules.

A lot of them think it's their right to be able to bot, run fast, beat everyone else to the NM.

They say they're "just using their computer". Sort of like a windower user, but without logic.

With warp hack, if you warp yourself a few feet into the air, Mimics turn back into treasure chests. I've tested it. >_>;
