The help text on Kraken Club was glitched after a version update once. SE fixed it.


Fishing up a K.Club wouldn't give it glitchy help text...

Like I said Feba, it's probably a valid item, a 100% activate K Club, so they could test the effects that it would have.

The glitchy text would be because they never bothered fixing it, since it was supposed to be inaccessible.

Legitimate K.Clubs had a glitch in their help text. Instead of saying "Occasionally attacks 2-8 times" it said some random string of letters/numbers (hex, I think)

it was fixed in a version update.

Even hackseded items wouldn't have the text, since item info is kept client side.

I actually don't think fishing up excaliburs or K clubs were possible even before the fix. In the past, this glitch was used to fish up beds as someone has mentioned. It fished up beds specifically because the bait value was not set to a true null and it accessed a different item table. But since it wasn't a true null and it had an unrecognizable value, it only accessed the beginning parts of each table. I haven't fiddled with the dat viewers in a long time, but if I recall correctly, the item tables always began with blank placeholders and items named "." I believe the first items listed on the tables also happens to be beds. I think this was the reason why this person was fishing up beds, but this is also the reason why I don't believe it is possible to fish up excaliburs and K clubs.
