im thinking of coming back and i was wondering, does anyone think/know if theres ever gonna be a release with the original game and all the expansions, INCLUDING ToAU, all in one package? in the near future?

It wouldn't surprise me to see a Vana'diel Collection II or something similar appear on the shelves soon.

Well, it really depends on what system you're playing on.

PS2 has FFXI and Zilart
PC has FFXI, Zilart and CoP
Xbox 360 has FFXI, Zilart, CoP and ToAU.

Personally I'd go for the PC and just buy the new Expansion, it would be a lot cheaper than Buying Xbox 360 with all the expansions in one. But I really don't know of any future packages with all Expansions in one.

awesome, thanks for showing me that. that shows that it might definetly come out for pc, maby not soon, but it might come out.

EDIT: i hope the cover looks as cool as the JP version, they never do for some reason..

The thing is, almost all packs SE has released, used to come out at the same time for both JP and NA. So I really don't know if this all-in-one pack will make it to the US. But I really hope it does.

I'm quite tempted to just get that new Japanese version, since I wouldn't have to use the windower IME to actually speak in Japanese. :\ So long as your PC is formatted to run import programs, it would work fine, I imagine.

Final Fantasy XI All In One Pack 2006.

From what I've seen looking at import shops, Japan gets an all-in-one pack for PC and PS2 on the same day that a new expansion is released, and the all-in-one includes the new expansion. I saw that for Japanese Zilart, Promathia, and Aht Urhgan. With Promathia, we didn't get the all-in-one for PC until like 6 months after the expansion came out and it was too late for that option for the PS2. Odds are that we'll have a similar wait here for an all-in-one for PC with Aht Urgan, since they can make more money selling them seperate for a while.

just buy the all in one pack for the japanese version. u can always use the english onry problem from pebble to read most of your stuff in english words.
