Sooooo ive been campin Huu Mjuu ... and all ive gotten is deodorize and 2 pairs of a zealots mitts off of 3 claims ( today i got 2 claims wewt) and everything hasnt sold yet so i am waiting to run back over there on my thief to get it... big question does thief (Treasure Hunter) work on all items such as Monster Signa>?

If anyone needs help camping this Noto Monster id be glad to help im pretty good at it unlucky on this server but i was on diabolos 3/8 on huu mjuu... im still wondering how that happened... most people go wtf and dont beileve me... meh Treasure Hunter is broken

i've gotten it twice ^^... out of sixty-so claims (63 when i stopped camping him and stopped keeping track... was 1/63 on him then). my second one i got while helping two lowbies get their kazham keys.. ended up splitting it 3-ways with them too -.-; (after price drop too xD)

I went 0/17 trying to get it to use and then I got smart. In the hours and hours I was spending camping his sorry butt I could've made far more than enough to buy it.

What's his spawn time like? I've seen him around but picked off quickly, it seems like people know when to go get him.

I'm 0/2 on his funny head. Once on my own, once with a PT. I only will camp him when I notice people around his spawn getting more nervous. I'm Giddeus sometimes to farm, and to get Norg fame too. Do some harvesting... all sorts of stuff.

Anyway, I make sure to check his spawnpoint every so often and judge by how many people are there and how nervous they are when he might spawn. Then I stick around.

Also, I think the zealot's mits are awesome. But thats me.

This mob is anoying to camp, usualy overcamped and realy bad drop rate, if he droped the mitts everytime and i got the claim everytime it might be worth camping but that never hapens. 0/9

This is the conclusion I have come to regarding camping NM. I tried camping LL, VE,
that yag that drops the O.Kotes, etc... with no success. I had no success. Maybe
I am just unlucky. *Melfurion tosses his lucky egg*

Now I just farm the money for these items. Unfortunately it is kinda sad, because it
takes some of the adventure out of it for me. However, being a casual player, it is
more worth my time to get consistent income to buy the item than spend hours
camping it hoping for a claim and then hoping for a drop. To each his own though.
(maybe I am just sour because I have had bad luck camping Charby lately, lol)

As far as I know, the drop rate with him is completely random and based on pure luck. TH increases the drop rate for items. But for Hoo Mjuu and Mee Deggi/Quu Domi, they ALWAYS drop 1 of a certain select items. And theoreticly speaking, if TH increases the drop rate for Signa by 10%, it should also increase the drop rate for the other two items by 10% thus creating a overall increase of 0.

Also.. th does effect rare, ex, and rare/ex items too, unlike what somebody in this thread hinted towards <.<;

The reason why people think TH doesn't affect "rare drops" (and I mean rare in the sense of 'doesn't drop often') comes down to simple math.

If you have an item that drops on average 1 out of every 10 kills, and TH increases the drop rate by 3%, you're going to get a noticeable increase in drop rate. If the item is rare (not Rare) and only drops say, 1 out of 100 kills, then that 3% increase is going to mean almost jack. Even if you stack all the TH in the world, and only get a 10% increase, you're still dealing with a crap drop rate.

0/5 on Torrent with TH2? Well, if the drop rate is only increased to say, 1/25 with maxed otu TH, then you're still doin' good.

I cant even claim the thing.... stupid gilsellers... no one even camps because of them
