yeah yeah, I knew I would receive this kind of response. I was doing G3 and there were a ton of them surrounding the crest....so I was a bit brash in taking invis off so soon ><

Oh in that situation I learned this: Yagudo High Priest has true sight. So dropping invis was probably just as well for you. I died there, too. Joke's on him though, I home pointed with his crest still in my hand.

Are you serious? Now that I think of it, I don't think I took it off. I thought my hand slipped or something and accidentally took it off. I wish the higher level whm that came with me would've warned me about that. lmao

I've walked around them before...and i'm pretty sure they sound aggro.

maybe behind it? I dunno. All I know is that I was sneaked and invised, dropped down to try getting a key, and it aggro'd me. Maybe they have different behavior during different weather conditions? I dunno.

All I know is that mob behavior in ToAU is wierd. It's a shame that they gave us all these beautiful new areas that you can't even enjoy because every monster will rip you a second asshole in 2 seconds if you're alone.

                        Double Post Edited:
Ok, I just looked it up on Mysterytour. Jnun ARE sound-aggro. Mabye you got low-HP aggro and not true-sight?

doubt it, undeads are the only mobs I know of that aggro to low-hp

Well, considering everything in that zone either 1) doesn't see me cause I'm sneak/invis or 2) destroys me, I was at full HP regardless.

If a junon is a big fat slug it HP aggros, thats why you dont fight Haku next to the cliff where the slugs hang out at the bottom. And they have a hooooooge range.

Another I learnt the hard way is dont accept short cuts! A friend of mine offered to pay for my pass in tenshodo to get to al zhabi instead of collecting all the sub job items, he eventually persuaded me to accept and so I took the easy way out. Only thing was, didn't realise the damn elvaan guy would knock me out and drop me off in wajoam woods at lvl thirty-something. Died and ended up back in Jeuno.
