LOL ... I use it when farming trains, so that as I'm running around, some mobs are already weaker by the time I decide to kill them all off. :p

Teleport-<crag> can get you aggro. (corollary: WHM's should not stand too close to the battle)

I've used a teleport as a poor man's escape more times than I care to admit.

While in Qulun Dome (or however you spell that) hunting for AF paraphernalia, a battle with a Sapphire Quadav wasn't going well, and things went worse as we got links. At the time, I'm pretty sure my tank can hold out, and I've got just enough MP for a teleport. So I run up a little (wink-wink, nudge-nudge) to make sure everyone is in range and start casting the teleport as I've done many times before.

I get off the teleport before the tank dies and the log looks something like this:

Gentoo casts Teleport-Altep
[Paladin tank] disappears
The Sapphire Quadav scores a critical hit!
The Sapphire Quadav hits Gentoo for a scary amount of damage
[Samurai] disappears
The Ancient Quadav beats Gentoo within a sliver of life
[Monk] disappears
The Platinum Quadav giggles and reduces Gentoo to a pulp
Gentoo disappears
Gentoo is defeated by the Platinum Quadav

Yes, perhaps the most frustrating thing ever, when you use Chainspell for the glimmer of hope that you may survive the battle, only to zone in at your home point face down. ; ;

Every single rdm learns to never use diaga the hard way, by agroing at least one crab or pug in the dunes. Yes, it may be slightly more powerful, but you must NEVER EVER EVER CAST IT.

No they don't. I never even bought it, same with poisionga.

I generally only hate them when I'm trying to level my Norg fame, which because of starting over, I've had to do several times. And again, sometime soon, I guess. I think I'll stick with Ore, perhaps.

well i just learned don't let someone else in your PT be in charge of who joins coz just 2day i was on the dunes with four of us and we are pulling thing's that we know we can kill not the fly's yet though but the leader invited another WAR (made PT up 2 three WAR's) and we were waiting for everyone to heal and be ready for the next pull when i look aroud i see he's pulling one of the huge fly's not good at all killed us all in 1 minute flat now that really got to us and we all just left all fuming at this guy so i learned that you gotta check everyone knows what they are doing in the PT

The 2 or 3 times I've zoned into Jeuno's MH facedown, people always give me strange emotes like they're confused on how I'm like that

One of the times, I made it out, unforunately, I stood there for a good half minute and then I realized my hp was gradually getting very very close to 0. Then I tried zoning in, but my MH was somewhere else... then I died...
Just because you warped out, doesn't mean you can't die from a DoT spell.

Speaking of DoT spells: Yes, the damage from that poison is fast enough to kill you between Convert and Cure IV going off.
