I started noticing this...not sure if its just me or its a ingame glitch.









Where'd the walls go?

And how do I fix it?

lol....happened to me once on my mule, in the magic shop in Lower Jeuno, and I just put it down to general lag. I could run behind the counter and everything, but the furniture HAD loaded for other people, and they were asking me how the heck I got back there. As soon as I went out the door, everything loaded, though, and my fun was over. I guess in retrospect I'm lucky I didn't get a GM call. Oo;

If you click em they get a tad bit bigger. I'm playing on a PS2 if that matters.

I walked in and out of the shops and it was all the same. It got weirder when I went to the Chocobo Farm and was standing aparently behind one of the stalls. I checked my connection speed and it was at 100%. So it can't be lag..

Hm. Not sure what the technical term for it is, then..... (I also don't know why the images didn't work for others...I got the thumbs and the images on the first try. o.O Spooooky.) Does zoning cure it?

It's a graphical error. While I'm not sure why it happened on PS2, on PC this will happen a lot if your drivers are incompatible with FFXI. If this keeps happening on PS2, then I would suggest a file-check, and if that doesn't do anything, and you keep having the problem, then a complete re-install would most likely work.

I had a glitch during a synth yesterday.

The synthing animation did not start at all, and it seemed that nothing happened.
However, when I opened my inventory and tried to use another crystal, it said: "Unable to use this in the middle of a synth".
I could not move, nor could I log out .
I could use the communication tools such as /tell, and I was not lagging otherwise.

I ended up having to Ctrl+Esc to crash the game and log back in.
Fixed the glitch though.

File check doesn't actually fix anything...it just tells you something is wrong and to reinstall...

Had something like that happen to me the other day. I was at the AH when sudenly I started running around in circles like a moron I coulden't stop had to Ctrl+Alt+Delete to get out and then log back in. Never happend before
