  • Question about ingame name color

I know that that funky green means NPCs and other colors with the little glowing ball means linkshells. What I was wondering is this my name was white befor and now it was light blue when I loged in today and I don't belong to any linkshells. Anyone know whats up?

Press /anon. If your name is blue, it means your character data is hidden. If someone /check's you while your name is blue, they won't see your level and job, only "???".

I think your name turns slightly blue when you have your party flag up.

/anon off or on toggles it.

And PT flag makes it a little purple.

You can also set it in the Config menu under Misc. > Character Information. That seems more likely than accidentally typing /anon.

There are shortcut buttons for it, in your macro pallette, when you haven't changed it yet. Make a new char, you will see that I think Ctrl+8 is /anon.

Ah... Been ages since I made a new one and I only use the alt key row on my mules.
