There are lots of gifts you can get. People have reported:
Bronze Moogle Belt
Silver Moogle Belt
Chocobo Wand
Cracker
Chocopass
Chocobo Ticket
Adventurer's Certificate
Fireworks

Nobody seems to know anything about what determines which gift you get.

On my mule I said I wanted my present now and got a chocopass. On my main, I chose to wait and still haven't heard anything about it yet. Hopefully it will be good.

The Moogle I talked to kinda implied that the longer you wait after you talk to him the first time the better the present you'll get. I only waited one earth day but maby if I had waited longer I might have gotten something better.

Hmm, I selected wait and after a day or two (real life) it asked me again. I clicked wait again, wonder if you have to keep clicking wait? or should you just.. not talk to the moogle till the end of the event.

This is the first time I've ever seen an event moogle that wasen't swamped. Usealy there so many people hanging around the event moogle that AH looks empty in compairson. / em looks around WOW where is everyone

Just for kicks I talked to the event moogle today and he offerd me a present agen so I said give it to me now and got a Adventuring Certificate so you can get more then present. I'm going to talk to all the moogles I can and try to get all the presents hee hee

Moogle Rod was the fan festival item.

Edit: Oh, ok. You could get it from the fan festival too. But that hasn't been the only way to get it.

Chocobo Wand was one of the top prizes from last years (or year before I can't remeber) appreciation event.

I belive only one is handed out per event/server but I could be wrong.

I remember a JP event (Before NA version) had the Chocobo Wand as a reward for the "Top 3" players in any given catagory.

But I don't recall ANYONE getting one in any event since then. Maybe they brought it back, since they gave it to Fan Fest'rs anyway
