    According to different posts etc, Besige is starting to get serious. I saw on some server sections that the warp taru was kidnapped, and that some AH people where too! Can somebody confirm these statements?

      the warp taru WAS taken on Garuda. no idea if they got him back yet. Haven't been online since it happened.

        Mmmmmm, I am leveling BLM like there is no tomorrow so I havent been on town to experience the event. I find this event to be refreshing and offering us something truly different as a in game experience!

            well I would say 65 or 70 for the minimum level, but you'll still get exp and imp. stamding points for supporting.

            It depend on the level of the beastmen(by checking besieged) starts at level 0(training) at level 1-10(?) they'll be preparing and every 10 forces gained they might advance, at 120 force it goes up to level 2 and increases a level every 10 after that.

            The gate guards in whitegates near Victory gate(rtight hand side) give that Empire's Sanction(signet)

              well my server won all three. No one was kidnapped as a matter of fact i remember some people shouting before the fight broke out the warp taru ran for it was scared or somthing.

              thats the truth my 56 blm did crap damage so i just stood back and used my whm sub abbilites to support everyone i could. seemed to work out better.

                On Sylph they went after the warp taru last night. We had 2 beseiged in less than an hour. Was major fun though, we got the win both times ^^

                      I died and ended up home pointing I think 3 or 4 times last night between all the sieges.

                      No exp loss from besieged is one of the smartest things SE has done.

                        On Ramuh, missed out on the first besiege of the three, it was the undead. Some LS members were there for it, said they were doing fine until they started getting hit with 700+ hp drain spells. Serpent General was captured, but didn't have time to send a rescue team since the trolls were attacking next, and the mamool ja shortly after.

                        The lvl 5 trolls... the worst thing were the bomb clusters, we'd get hit with 1333 point self-destruct periodically. The trolls did break through the gate, didn't capture anyone though.

                        Then the lvl 5 mamool came shortly after. The two horrible things about the Mamool Ja are the War Wyverns with AOE Paralyze hitting 20+ people at a time and the Dispelling Wind dispelling your RR ><, but not sure which Mamool casted it, but it was the 2000+ point Astral Flow we got nailed with, it killed everyone in our area except for 2 people. Luckily we still had RR, and some of us switched strictly to support to Ballad/Refresh mages to Raise people as fast as possible. The mamool didn't even breach our gates in this fight.

                        Since we knew the Trolls and Mamool attack from the west gate, we camped near north gate, that way when the mobs popped, they wouldn't have us surrounded leading to our quick death, and then we tried to pull a few at a time so we didn't get overwhelm at north gate. What was funny during the trolls, after a series of Self-Destructs, a group of mages made up of BLM, SMN, BRD, RDM, WHM, all found a corner and hid together to regen mp and would dash out to rez people. Once we had enough melee raised, we struck out and took mobs out one by one. When rezzing people, it didn't matter who you raised, if you knew them or not, if they were in your alliance or not. At one time I was busy keeping a mob debuffed for a group of 20 people I didn't know and supporting them with paralynas and cures. It's really fun. It's not exactly easy but fun.

                          Well, level 5 mamool ninjas can and will mijin gakure. For 2k+ damage >.>

                            On Remora the first night after Maint. there was a lvl5 undead followed immediately by a lvl5 troll attack. When we first started everyone figured it was going to be a cake walk and there were only around 150 people in the zone. Needless to say, we got our asses handed to us until reinforcements arrived.

                            The undead first went through the Bastian gates, and then they took a turn south. From there, they headed toward the AH and kidnapped them. Next they busted down another door and stole our beloved warp-taru. Eventually we forced the retreat but they still took the npcs they had already managed to get ahold of. During this fight two of our Serpent Generals were killed.

                            After that we beat back the Trolls without quite so much trouble considering there were quite a few more people in the zone to help out, I don't believe the trolls got any prisoners.

                            This just goes to show that you do not have to lose the candysense in order to lose your warp-taru, so defend him with your life.

                            Edit: Apathy went out and rescued our warp-taru in like 30 minutes after he was taken.
