Ugh, well you know how excited I was to get FFXI? So I go to the game store (the biggest one out of the downtown area), and they don't have it. So I'm like "well I saw on the online store that there's a Final Fantasy XI game that has the first game and two expansions, do you have that one?", and what did he say? "Sorry but we don't have the first game" so I replied "Not just the first one, it's a new one I think that has the first game AND two expansions".

Two minutes later I'm walking out of the store cussing. I'm so mad And I don't usually get this mad. Ugh.

So I looked at the website, ended up being their American website (they don't have a Canadian one), so I checked Canadian game store websites and they only had FFXI for Xbox 360 and the new expansion pack for PC and PS2, I want that expansion pack too but first I need the god damn game


I'm guessing you all went through trouble for FFXI, either from it being sold out (when it first came out) or the stupid store not getting any new ones shipped in (this can be a thread to talk about what you went through <__<).

Thanks, I went on amazon.ca and found it. Ugh, I was so excited to get it today though =P Technicly I've been waiting since it came out >_< (I finally got my parents to allow me buy a p2p game if I'm the one paying for it).

Oh well, at least now I'm getting FFXI with 2 expansion packs, and I might also get the newest expansion too.

Yep! And which race/job I'll be. I think I've decided already, but I'll read up on the other ones just to make sure.^^

hehe, my sister lives an hour and 30min away (on train), but I found out she's coming over to stay for a few days, and the train stop just happens to be by a mall she's going to before coming over

So I asked her to get me the game (I sent her a picture of the game case and told her the name), and she said "as long as I get the money for it when I see you tonight".

Muhahahahahahah, sorry <__< I'm just really excited/happy.

Though it'll be a lot of installing.. oh well^_^

But, I was trading some stuff in...And I had enough to get the 360 version...

I know how you felt when u left the store wihtout ff11, happened to me some days ago when i wanted to buy ff11 and i couldnt find it in a store in my town. Well, i ordered it now and waiting when i get it. But i got time enoug to think what race/job etc i gonna get

Hope your sister can grab you a copy. The installation time will be hell but you'll be hooked into the addiction within the first hour.

Woah o_o You can get a controller that attaches to your computer to play FFXI? That's cool.. I'm thinking of getting it, but I'm spending so much >_< I'll make sure I stay addicted to the game first =P

Absolutely the best controller/keyboard for FFXI on PC and PS2. No putting down your controller and picking up your keyboard to type anymore with this baby. And before the "OMG THATS HUGE" starts, its not. It's smaller than a standard keyboard and does the job of 2 things.
