Yes, there are multiple colors of the chocobos, they're already in the .dat files.

When we got the update, I did some data mining and found a bunch of chocobo models that were broken into seperate pieces (head, body, legs, etc) unlike the normal chocobos which are all contained in one single .dat file. For this reason, it's not viewable in the modelviewer but I put together a little image from looking at them with POLUtils. Here are the bodies:

Wow Sweet! I had no idea about their plans to add in Chocobo Breeding/Racing. I've been away from the game for a while and just recently decided to come back. I can't wait, this is going to rock!

Also I can't wait for the Collesseum to open, talk about FF6 flashbacks.

yeah I love chocobo raiseing/raceing myself from FFVII ^.^

My mind is running circles though.....

Will chocobos be for raceing ony or can we call them with a wistle or something

will we have access to them from our moghouse or do we have to go to stables in the new area (the stables that are "closed")

and how would breeding acualy work... would it be really like FFVII or something new

but all this will be answered this Summer, so I will just have to wait :p

at the moment im intrested in how do we get our own chocobo in the 1st place, do we catch one in the wild which would mean quiet a few new areas or incresing the size of areas to add our fethered friends or do we find chocobo eggs? do we do a quest for the chocobo stables and get given one?


all we can really do is speculate but i would love to do a quest to get a chocobo egg/ chocochick
