I was just wondering if anybody knows when SE will be adding Chocobo Racing and Breeding to FF11? I hope they add it soon cause im looking forward to it.

I remember SE released a chart at fanfest detailing when new content was to be added. I think it said chocobo features would be implemented sometime in the fall(Around September/October I think).

Could someone please post a link to an a picture of the schedule?

I don't know a link to the timeline pic, but if i remember right, the chocobo breeding will be in the next major update, and then the following update will include chocobo racing. Sadly, they aren't going to be released at the same time.

My opinion: Job fixes first, everything else later.

I read somewhere that is what SE is placing priority on for now. The June update should include adjustments for the jobs. So far, only paladin and white mage were changed.

Removing of the TP floor nerfed THF and some NINs, and boosting of TP gain from a bunch of 2h weapons helped a lot.

At the fan festival, did they mention anything about the breeding of chocobos allowing them to come in different colors? I would kill for a purple chocobo. I wouldn't even care if it ended up being the slowest chocobo on the planet as long as it would be purple.

Yes, there are multiple colors of the chocobos, they're already in the .dat files.

When we got the update, I did some data mining and found a bunch of chocobo models that were broken into seperate pieces (head, body, legs, etc) unlike the normal chocobos which are all contained in one single .dat file. For this reason, it's not viewable in the modelviewer but I put together a little image from looking at them with POLUtils. Here are the bodies:

December 2006 and beyond: new multi-player battle field, more ToAU missions, enhance Assults, Monster ï¼£oliseum


so as far as choco racing and breeding go, breeding starts first around 3Q, and 4Q for racing.


btw, i remember seeing the same pic in English somewhere else, not like the one Rinaminori posted but more like what i've posted w/ only difference being the language. i'm lazy to do a search, hopefully someone else can post a link to it?
