    Whitegate overcrowded!!

    Heh... some friends and I are doing Corsair quest, and we just got a system message on Diabolos server sayind, "Currently Aht Urhgan White is over corwded. Please more to a different area if possible."

    I just took some snapshots of all the people on the ferry. I'll post them later, hehe.... yeesh!!

    Update... I just got kicked off the boat to Nashmau... many other people did too.... my friends are still on... 100 people on that ferry! lol... crazy!

      this'll die out eafter everyone has the main jobs...this is only temporary, besides people will realise that the old areas were better for alot of things, and that these areas are really 50+

        I'm not so sure. There's bound to be some decent xp spots for 60+. The AH is connected to Jeuno. There's a free warp back to Jeuno. There's no Bazaar tax. There's a guild salesroom and synth support for every craft, including fishing and an actual alchemy guild. Why on earth would you keep you HP in Jeuno?

          Ya I had an interesting thing happen when I was going there for the first time. I was in the first batch of people to go and we were all on the pier waiting for the ferry to come. It was a HUGE mass of humanity! Looked kinda like this!




          When the ferry came in, we were all trying to run forward to get on but we couldn't move! There was a trickle of people little bit by little bit getting on but most of us were stuck in a lump at the end of the pier! I tried going forward, to the sides, and finally I ran back to the start of the pier and then ran forward. I was hoping that people would pop in slowly and I'd be able to get past them before they all popped in. It worked! I got on and just in time for it to take off! But there were still quite a few people stuck on the end of the pier that didn't get on. Oh the shouts that went off!

            I was stuck in the middle of 4 Galka for like 4 minutes... lol... I tried running, but I couldnt! heh.

              I did some /sea and /sea all from whitegate. Until recently, normal server population on weekends topped at 3k. 2800 used to be high. Tonight, I kept using /sea all and saw the population steadily increase. 3800, 3870, 3983, and 4020. I was surprised. Middy hasn't seen numbers like that in a long time.

              As for Whitegate, saw 423, 460, 474, 511, 450. Needless to say, trying to get anything done was sometime a chore. I hit R0 a few times. Mea chocobo stable was 7k+. Holla was 2k+ because a certain mission required travelling to San D.

              I hope it dies down, but I don't see that happening for at least two weeks.

              Side note: Tenshodo invites use to be 2k. Now, they are 100k because people are trying to get their mules to Whitesand. Crazy!

                Is it just a guild salesroom and synth support? Or are there also the guild point guys too? I really don't see this place dieing down too much. All the guilds, plus the Jeuno AH. Thats a lot to offer. Guess we'll know in a few weeks or maybe a month.

                  this city is ment to be the new jreuno, its engineered to have everyone in it, come on every guild, assult teleports for free (take the mission and warp there!) and warps from the maps to there from runic portasals! and yes jeuno AH and no bazar tax, this is for life. Hence why SE had to do maintanane on whitegate XD

                    Don't worry, we'll soon see in game and on the forums people complaining about not being able to solo, how hard it is to make gil, prices are too high, waiting for pts takes too long, and then the ubiquitous "Goodbye Vana'diel" threads! lol The herd will thin out via natural selection eventually.

                        No its not but thats not the point I was making was it? The point is, soon people will see the so called "flaws" of the game (not that I consider them flaws) and move on. Therefore the areas will thin out and things will get more on an even keel.

                          i got the game 2 days ago but cant get registered yet as its too full, so expect many more people to be flooding these areas.

                          i honestly cant wait to get it running, i have always loved the FF series and this looks the most promising ever. i dont care if its going to be hard to make gil, get jobs etc. thats the fun of it.

                            You can't get it registered because it's too full? That doesn't make sense. Are you purposely waiting to register, or are you getting error messages?

                              getting error pol-1361 coming up when i go to type my date of birth in. apparently its because it has been so busy.

                              the x box 360 launch was this week in uk so could be that. they are apparently working on it though.

                              so expect to see me wondering around like a lost child soon
