mog locker expired as soon as we get it?

I just got my mog locker an hour ago. put some stuff in it. zone out, look around the area a bit, went back in and it's expired already....
now, I have a mithril piece. How can I go around getting a bronze piece?

Aren't they supposed to last for a month once you start one? Or is it not really started until you pay for it once?

it lets me put items in the moment I got it. weird if it's gonna expire that fast.
Anyway 1 imp bronze piece last 7 days. I found an NPC to trade points for it now.

well, moglocker is most likely gonna be used as storage for rare/ex stuff you cant bring yourself to toss so just keeping 1 coin is gonna be a good idea lol

bronze piece is only 20 pts so no problem at all ^^

Where do you get this new version of signet? I've been trying to figure that out for a while now.

there's guard standing near the exit to the west side of aht urhgan. the exit leading to the forrests. one of them will offer to cast something on you. that's the signet. I can't remember the name.

he also offers regen or refresh for 100 points too. wonder how long that last.

Then in whitegate area. 1 block to the north of the mog house , on the second floor will have an NPC who you can trade the points for currency.

The very first time you use it, it only lasts one Vana'diel day. After you give the next bronze piece, it will last for one real life week.

See, the moogles are running a racket. You have to talk to the Don Moogle if you let it expire, or if you need someone whacked.

OK, I think I'll repost this somewhere else latter with a bit better information, but here is how the mog locker works.
You get the mog locker after you finish the supplys quest ToAU mission to one of the stageing areas.

You go to a guy (forget his name atm) outside the MH in White Gate and he will tell you when your mog locker expires and how to renew and expand it.
To reactivate you mog locker you need 1 bronze pice, each pice will activate your locker for 1 real life week. There are alot of ways to get these:

1. You can trade you Mythril, Silver, Gold pices to a guy in Nahsmura (upper level, south-west part of south area). He will give you this conversion rate (unknown if you can convert up yet):
1 Gold -> 5 Mythril
1 Mythril -> 2 Silver
1 Silver -> 5 Bronze
So, for the I-hate-math people, the one Mythril pice you get from the invitation cards quest will get you 10 bronze pices (10 real life weeks).

2. You can do the first set of missions (currently goes through ToAU 8 I belive). Once you get to the end of the current missions you will have 10 bronze pices and 2 silver pices. The first mission is the hardest, the rest just involve getting CS in Sandy, Jeuno, and White Gate.

3. You can trade in your imperial credits for the pices. You get imperial credits by XPing in ToAU areas with Saction on (new-age Signet). The rate of credit earning is the same as it is for Conquest Points (10xp = 1 credit). You can trade your credits in to Ugrihd at (G-9) in White Gate (just north of the MH). He will give you 1 bronze pice for 20 credits (200 XP) as well as the other pices but I dont have the exact exchange rate. I was able to get the 20 credits in about 20 min of XPing outside Nahsmura as RDM/NIN.

More specifically, you can trade your Imperial Standing points for Imperial coins once you hit Private Second Class by going to see Ugrihd in Aht Urhgan Whitegate G-9. ＾＾

also the refresh and regen effects last as long as Saction does, and there is also a choice for makeing your food last longer, and as long as we have the besiged item thingy.....astral something, Saction also gives an EXP boost...

Sorry if this has been stated, but at what point in the missions are you a "Private
Second Class"? I might have that already, having done the missions up to 8, but
I have only done one Assault and wasn't sure if that mattered.
