PS2.. Treasures... Reg Code

I just picked up my copy of ToAU for PS2... but the page in the manual with the Registration Code is missing, so, I don't have a Reg. Code for my copy. Anyone else have this problem? It's too late to call square right now, but would they be able to issue another code? I doubt it, but is it worth a shot to call anyway?

I called. They can't do anything about it because the games were sealed.

its on the very last page of the manual. caps and a couple of numbers thrown in 5 sets of 4. its the back of the cover. i find it hard to believe it would be gone. just might have to look a little longer for it.

I got FFXI with Zilart, then Promathia... I think I would know where they would be and how they would look like. It says, "You can find the Reg Codes on Page 12 of this manual".... but PAGE 11 and page 12 are NOT THERE! Should I take digital cam pics of the manual to show? Pfft!

And just so you know, it's NOT in the inside back cover. That is page 13 on the manual. My GF has the PC version, and THAT is on the inside of the back cover, page 9!

Can't do that. In another post I made in another forum, someone suggested that retail reps go with the assumption that I "might have ripped off" those particular pages and just want another free code. I suppose that kinda makes sense.

You're going to have an even harder time trying to prove to an SE rep on the phone that you need a new reg code. You should at least try the store first. If you can show them the manual and it doesn't look like you manhandled it, maybe you'd have a chance with them.

now that should get you somewhere. hopefully the stores or SE itself will recognize this error.

I agree with Jei. This is a buyer's market, march down to the store and DEMAND another copy because that is ludacris! If they don't do anything then call S-E and put up a fight. Just keep in mind that there is absolutely no reason why you should have to buy another copy of the game and I hope you don't intend to.

no actually its not...they rep will just tell you to go to the store and demenad a new copy...he will also tell you to tell the manager(if they giv you a hard time) to call SE

Yeah... as soon as I get the chance later on today, I'm going straight to the store. It would suck since I ALWAYS preordered all my stuff with that one store for YEARS now... blah.

I'm sure they'll hand over another copy, or just send the box back to Square-Enix with the issue. Else you didn't only get ripped off, but Square-Enix has sold something unusable! A crime!
