buddy pass question(not WP)

I have a friend of mine who Ive finally convinced to play. Yay! only took me 4 years^^.

Now I have the Vana'deil collection...the bundle pack of FFXI RiZ and CoP...it comes with a buddy pass that alowes my friend to play the game for 30 days for free. Now Ive come to a question. After the 30 days he odviasly has to pay, thats a given. But does he have to pay to register the expansions? does he get to use my registration codes?

please someone help.

Your friend will need to buy a copy of game plus any applicable expansions, which, at this point, would just be Aht Urghan (the current version, the "Vana'Diel Collection" Comes with Zilart and CoP)
