Even for the egg event if i traded for an egg i checked the discription before i accepted, so if you wont check something like an 70mil item its your own fault. Also an ls mate said that he lent someone some items and wouldent give back the items he lended to them and a GM put him into GM jail then gave back the items.

Some guy lent his friend a kraken club on Seraph, and that friend turned around and sold it to a gil seller for a hefty sum.

I remember reading some KI or Alla...or something post where a guy gave his account password to a friend, then the friend turned around and stole items from him. The guy came back, saw his items missing, and asked somebody he knew for his "friend's" password. Then logged on his account and dropped all his rare/ex items to get revenge. Some, like evoker ring, he can't ever get back.

The whole thing stinks. Wasn't right of either of them.

On my own server there was a story about some guy grabbing a scorpion harness +1 from his friend and selling it. And the guy that stunned AV when it went unclaimed and then called for help...that was pretty bad too. Although, honestly, the two linkshells killing AV didn't have a chance anyway, the entire main alliance was in jail, and all the BLMs/refreshers.

there was 1 KI thread I remember that the guy who got his stuff stolen even make a real phone call to the stoler threatenning him. Log on to the stoler's friend account and threw away a black belt plus everything else.

I have to admit it brings a smile to my face to hear about thieves getting screwed back harder than the people they stole from in the first place. Dropping Rare/Ex items that you can never get back again - OUCH!

You have a better memory than I do. It was the same thread, but I forgot about the phonecall part. I seem to remember there being a woman involved too.

I remember there were several screenshots detailing every single completely rare and expensive he had being dropped. It hurt to read, it hurt my very being.

Unfortunately I have seen a lot of cruelty, scams, and low things people do on Ifrit its like one huge soap opera. I see people flaming, spreading rumors, lies and crap just to get back at someone that's pretty low wouldn't you think?
