Treasures of Aht Urghan expansion questions

hi,
im returning to the game after a few months of time off, i tried other games but the urge just fades away as much as the fun in those games is,
so the main question is : what is Treasures of Aht Urghan expansion ?

i know the basic that its an expansion with a bunch of new playable classes and jobs , but is it mainly high end game content or from 1 to 75 content, will i find something to do in that expansion if i were to start fresh , or should i just keep my money till i hit a certain lvl before getting this addon. money aint an issue, i just want something that will get my attention and keep me locked in. i dont want an expansion that i wont get to see or play in for another 4-5 months untill im lvl 60+( like planes of power for EQ)


so the basic question is . what range of lvl is the new expansion

also another question, which server would you recommend on a strong english comunity and what class/jobs are in demand: like healer,tanks and what not

I heard that you can level at low levels in the expansion, but I'm not sure if that's a rumor or not. At first, I thought "Great, but I still have to get an airship pass to get to those areas to level low jobs" but that same rumor said not so... aparently, the boat from Selbina will take you to the new islands as well. However, that leads me to believe that the new areas will maybe be at least an alternative to the Dunes or Quafm.

But, like I say, to me it's all just rumors and I haven't looked into it too much. Sorry

ToAU is hard to say -exactly- what level it will be geared towards... but... Advanced jobs (BLU, COR, and PUP) are acceable at level 30 if you have ToAU. Assault is level 50 minimum. Mog Lockers I assume are usable by any level, but the items/currency you need to use them may or may not be obtainable at low levels. I don't remember if Besieged has a certain level or not.

As far as jobs and whatnot, I can only speak to my server, Odin. Odin has a good economy, IMHO, that is steadily getting better at least in terms of WHM related things. Has a very strong english speaking player base, including during JP peak times. And tanks are always, always in high demand. Second only to refreshers.

at the fan festival they said ToA is mostly geared for high levels (>50), but some things like chocobo raising, mog lockers, etc. are for all to enjoy.

The Developement Pannel did say that the main problem people had with CoP were the level capped fights. They said that they not only would make it easier for missions to be completed, but make them available to all levels. So in terms of level range for the new areas.... I would honestly not expect anything below Lv20... But from all the research I have done through the extensive storyline and background plotlines.... I would say Treasures of Aht Urghan will not only include a more indepth story for players of all levels to enjoy, but I would also say it will give us "End Game" players a run for our money aswell.

Give the Community, Mods, and Dev Team a few days and we will have more than enough info on there.

I'd hope there some new low level content, it's gonna suck having to level all the new jobs in ronfaure with 9000 other people heh.
