yea, but this is a differnt type game it requires a hardrive .

For the harddrive last I heard for the PS3 games they are supposedly requiring that they are made with the intention of them interacting with the HDD. So shouldn't be any worry there.

They should work just fine, software vs. OS vs. hardware creates so many areas were an emulation can cover any system changes just fine.

of course itll be compatible. you might have to configure it since it most likely wont come preloaded but a hdd is a hdd no matter how you slice it. all it does is hold info. nothing else.

Much like the sales for Gas indicate though you'll certainly find people who probably won't care about that price either.

My point to it was that gas station out here that were clearly gouging their prices and people still were buying gas from them with little faulter in their profit.

Average gas price is suppose to be like 2.6999 a gallon some places here are selling for 3.20 and higher yet still people are going to them and buying just fine while if they spent a little more effort could find gas stations selling at 2.69.

That was my point.

Has anyone forgotten the fact that the NA version was preinstalled on the HDD...there was no game disk. so there will be no way to install the game. plus the 360 version is different from the other versions...its Hi Def!

stands to reason that they most likely will reslese a Ps3 version...If they do it would most likely be a HiDef version closer to the the 360 version then the ps2

There was game disks, they sold it with the HDD. Just you didn't have to use the disks but they were there if something happened to the HDD and needed them.

I wish SE will really take FFXI to PS3 and give it upgrades to graphics. It won't be about supporting old PS2 users. But it will be about marketting - replacing all those PS2 users with PS3s.

There was game disks, they sold it with the HDD. Just you didn't have to use the disks but they were there if something happened to the HDD and needed them.

those wern't game disks those were restoration disks for the whole HDD. its kind like if you have an HP laptop...when you wipe it you don't instal one specific porgram...you install the whole os with all the other little useless programs. when you use those disks for your HDD(and I have) you resinstall EVERYTHING...not just ffxi

It installs POL, FFXI, and Tetra Master... the same thing installed on the PC. I have both PS2 and PC versions.
