so anyway im considering starting new on a diffrent server.. for one this past week i have been taking screenshots at "peak times" aka 7 am and 7 pm central. peak NA and peak JP

and well... lets just say

7 AM last saturday which is roughly 7 pm jp sat night roughly peak time

anyway i hear theres servers that have peaks of 4-5k and offpeaks of 3k

is this true and if so can i have a WP.. im sick of lfg in dunes for 8 hours per sitting with 0 invites 5 days a week.. its like a job.. a job that u dont get paid or even get to interact with anyone

Don't forget with FFXI coming out for 360, there will be an influx of new players, and you shouldn't have as hard a time getting a pt, even if it is with newer players. . .

well yea were getting new players but how many do u honestly think are going to come to carbuncle..

even my 1st instinct was "Carbuncle yeesh like anyone is gonna be on that crappily named server" which my instincts were right most ppl pick a server based on the name as there #1 reason

thats why midgarsormr and hades and caitsith are so highly populated.. cool familliar names.. no one wants to be a Carbuncle <look it up>

i only came here cause i was givn a goldpass to come here but now i regret it. 90 alchemy and hundreds of lvl ups wasted cause i cant even find a pt 90% of the time


oh and the ventrillo thing.. im on Vent when i play WoW and even when im alone killing in no pt bored as heck having ppl to talk to makes it a bit more tolerable

and ive allready tried being in LS's ive been at least half of all the Linkshells in my server.. and it allways seems to be 0-2 ppl online besides me at any givin time.. mostly 0

except during LS events and HNM farming ect but even then they dont talk.. just do their routine and log out without saying a word

Most people don't pick servers. When you create your first character to get "randomly" assigned to a server based on which has the lowest population. You can get a worldpass to a server, but really only if you have a friend there. You can get one from a stranger, but why would you?

actually i see ALOT of ppl pick servers.. there are litteraly tens of thousands of WP threads and posts across all the ffxi related forums there are

and the majority of ppl ask for WP's into the big servers.. bahumut. siren midgar caitsith hades diablos ect

This thread has nothing to do with the title. If you want a WP there are threads in each server thread to ask for one. Ragnarok and Midgard are large servers as well as a few others. If you would like a WP to a specific server go to that servers Sticky and request one. If you would like to know populations at peak times please go here to ask but make sure the thread topic is appropriate:
