    Re: This kind of behaviour...

not to be an ass, but you could deduce that when he said {party}, he meant, would you like to join my party? Don't think there would be any reason for people to just say {party} by itself, if he wasn't asking you to be in his party. heh, the least you could have done was give him a decent response after he asked.

    just a thought.

      Re: This kind of behaviour...

I hate invites that just say {Party}. It seems like most people have figured out to send a tell before an invite, but a lot of people still have no idea why. Give me some freakin information, please. If you just say {party} I'm gonna assume you're all rank 2, there's a 4 level gap, and the red mage is the puller.

      Edit: {party} isn't even a question.

          Re: This kind of behaviour...

Looks like a case of miscommunication to me...
Just saying <Party> is a little vague and just replying with ? isnt great either, but he still shouldve elaborated on his question in response to the "?" instead of going off after the fact.

while those kind of tells don't show much gratitude, they do communicate the point across tho imo.
Sometimes I join these kinds of invites too but depends largely on my mood at the moment

                Re: This kind of behaviour...

Well its all depends on the perception of everyone... sometimes ppl are tired of seeking and seeking. What if he would have said (party)? and added the "?" I see that as a simple way of a quick invite.

I agree with wha somone said here that you can assume what he ment. I usually do PARTY, EXPERIENCE POINTS DO YOU NEED IT.... but i have to admit that ther are times where it becomes a hassle?

Each mind is a little own word. I would have listed to both offers, see who had a better party setup, see what the levels of both parties were. Then again, that is just me!

                my 2 cents.

its not about the invite he gave me

its about me having to join his pt because he told me lol D:

                    Re: This kind of behaviour...

Actually, Balfree is right. That's not even a question. If you told that to most EU or JP players, they'd be like ... WTF? Because you threw out a noun and not a statement of any kind.

It's like me going up to any of you right now and say...

                    "Car"
                    "?"

Does that make any sense to you? Neither should "{Party}" "?"

Even a, "{Experience Point}{Party}" is hell of a lot better than just "{Party}" I hope you all realize that there's all kinds of parties in this game:

                    -Skill Up Party
                    -Coffer Key Hunt Party
                    -Mission Party
                    -Quest Party
                    -RSE Party
                    -NM Party

and even the not-so-common "get me through the Garlaige Citadel Gates" party.

                      Re: This kind of behaviour...

Yeah, the assumption that you belonged to him somehow because he sent you what he thought was an invite is pretty absurd. Really though, I take a one-word invite as the sign of a bad party leader in the first place, so his behavior after that comes as no surprise.

When I send a pt invite I include where, how many people I already have, and what jobs they are. I just think it is common courtesy to let someone know what they are getting into.

I always accept the first invite I get. I am RARELY afk, so I respond within seconds. I don't care of someone msgs me with "{Party}" because I'm seeking, wth would I think it meant!? LOL But I have had it happen that I would get an invite, answer yes, and within seconds I would get another invite. Then the 2nd invite would argue that they invited me first!! LOL!!! Ok, and you know this because..........?? your psychic?? If you are you need to go back to psychic school! LOL
