    Rant and vent about CGF

    I always try to hold my anger and keep this to myself, but this weekend was perhaps one of the most frustrating weekends ever in my 2 year FF HISTORY.

    The story unfolds as following....

    I hit 60 on my BLM (which will be my second 75 job) so, I decided to manaburn and speed things up a bit, we decided to go to the boyada tree, everything was going pefect until this (calmn down DH, calmn down) #@%^$^%&^@# these..... individuales showed up!!! "loiling", "katataka" "lilylong" "poingling" "weiling" "linglin" show up,,, at 1st we didnt mind, they just stood there, when all of a sudden those individuals decided to xp and camp ON TOP of m party.. I couldnt belive my eyes!!!! Im getting furious again just to remember. We were down the 1st waterfall in the tree (as if you are going to fafnir) and there are not too much crabs there, but campin right on top of us... i mean for the love of good.... I didnt wnat to do much hassle... then we decided to go to the valley of sorrows... so there we go...

    We were on the south entrnace in the beach of cape terringa, doing good, xping on raptors... and then.... oh yes..... surprise surprise.... 10 individuals show up,
    "lingling" "pingping" "yingying" "queping" "gonging" and a few more. I wa sabout to die.... after them watching us for like 6 mintues they did the same thing.... camped on top of us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not only that.. this time it gor worse, their ohter powerlevelers... invisibled themselves in the tunnel.. so that our pulled would get "stuck" for a second and died. They had like 4 guys invis so our puller died like 3 times. After that.... i was SO annyoned, I SWEAR I want to MPK them, and I have never ever done this. I called a GM.... and well... his reponse was "move your camp" if they follow you then report agian.... $^$@$^%*&(*)(*(&^^% move my camp????????????????? How on earth do they support that???? I mean, not only do they ruin our economy, but how they are ruining our xp camps? This didnt happen to me when i was leveling my summoner...

    Does this happen on other servers? Has this happened to you?
    So.. anyway.. I TOLD the GM... "so, i can xp on top of any pt i want and i wont get banned or suspended" and he said yes!!!! So, to make things worse... yesterday, sunday.... i got a regular xp party and went to Ozonzo.... and grrrrrrrrrrr.. PINGPONG, LAMELONG and the rets of his crew was there... camping on top of the parties as well.

    Do they realize that they are hated? Why doesnt SE do something about it? I am so so so so so frustrated. I want to keeep my posture, but i think i will go off the next time i see them!

    You should get about a dozen 75s from you LS to camp on top of them in return ^^.

      I called a GM.... and well... his reponse was "move your camp" if they follow you then report agian....
      You did move.. they did follow...

      It might be too late, but see if you can/have a screenshot of that. That right there is blatant and pre-concieved harassment. (which we all know is against the ToS.) Send the screenshot to the Head GM's.

        A friend of my parti has them, I will see if i can get tem and post them here also. The pic shows us "highlighting" 5 of them in invisible mode blocking our way!! Also they were pulling birds to AoE kill us! I have to add, that I AM NOT surprised I didnt go to jail after the things i told the GM when he said "move your camp" I had never ever in my 2 years of playing this game been such annyoned and felt so frustrated, even when the GM warned me about cussing him, and I WENT ON and on and on... i did not go to jail.. not sure why.

        But I really DONT undersstand why they allow these foul players to be here!

          i used to talked to GM about steal-claiming HNM mid fight. the GM told me it's part of player interaction and they want players to communicate to solve problem.
          I guess it's the same here. Disappointing huh -.-
          There are painters who transform the sun into a yellow spot,

            my guess is either the GMs don't care or (more likely) they need so much verified proof (ie GM has to be there to see the infraction) that it's really hard to ban them.

            third possiblity, NA GMs can't touch JP accounts. omg! conspiracy theory!

              And a GM told someone that its part of the game. They let the mob go unclaimed to give other people a chance at claim. See this is the stuff I can't stand. Are there no rules for the GMs? They just make up whatever as they go along?

                actually this was one of the quotes from Sage Sundi in (iirc) the BG interview. loosing claim is part of the game design...

                    This has to be one of those things that varies from GM to GM. If someone could get banned for zoning a train of bats in Garlaige back in the day for MPK then making an invisible wall to block a puller should definately constitute MPK.

                      I dont want to lower myself, but i am very tempted im trying to mpk these chineese %&#$#^**&(*^^#$@#@# guys! And I am still happy i didnt go to jail

                        just a word of caution, not all gil farmers are chinese (even if they have chinese names). it's not polite to generalize.

                          I know I cannot generalize, but a friend of mine speaks mandarin, so when he talked to them he knew that is why i know. I dont like to generalize ever, so what i am saying has fundaments I truly hate that they are not camping on top of pepole as if we dont exist!

                              are they kidding? dont they understand that this is one of the things we hate about the game?! this is one of the things that drive people away! the rest of us stay here and play this game despite things like this, not because of it! and now they say that they think these horrible, grinding- and above all else frustrating- things like claim stealing and nm camping and monopolizing gilfarmers are the fun to be found in the game?! you have GOT to be kidding!

                              these guys are out of their MINDS! are they just out of touch, or completely insane!

                              this is why i tend to stay away from all notorious monsters whenever possible, because the devs allow stupid stuff like this to continue. it's also why i plan to quit ffxi when a certain mmo that i'm waiting for comes out.
