FFXI double charged me this month

    man some of you need to calm down -.- about 90% of the time if you are overcharged you get a discount or a free month on the next month, or how much they ow you :p now if they did not give it back in some way then I would check in ^.^ but relly this kind of stuff happens, mistakes can and will be made.

      i called em today spent 2 and a half hours on hold.. guess alot of ppl got overcharged and phones tied up... anyway 2 and a half hours maybe 3 i was watching tv the whole time.. then it was about to connect me FINALLY and it made clicking sounds and then busy signal.... dial tone... "beep beep beep if your like to make a call please hang up and try again if u need help please hang up and call a operator.... dooo doo doo <repeat>"


      i got so angry i cracked my phone by throwing it into the wall

      guess ill try again tomorrow

        im in the live chat ATM and thay said "is this one charge or multiple? when i asked why they double charged. me.. i said "idk i was charged $32 when i normaly pay $16 u tell me..

        they havent responded for about 20m now.. just here.. with window open..

          I called them Monday. They said they never charged me in March due to changing my CC info. I'm checking my bank records and calling them again if anything looks tricky, but I DID change CC's so it's probably legitimate.

          And yeah, I was on hold for like an hour. It's ridiculous. I work for a call center that has probably twice the customers than Playonline and our average time to answer the phone is 20 seconds. It's bullshit.

            guy said that i wasnt charged for march so they charged me for march.. my bank account has been charged every month since forever.. he told me that it said "blah blah blah we charge on the 1st blah blah.. which 100% didnt help me or get mme my $$$ back.. i wish i could paste the convo as i have it right here but firefox wont let me paste.. i allready copied but when i right click theres no "Paste" option

                this took the majority of my day i got fed up before i asked anything else

                edited names out so i dont get banned for breaking some kind of rule im not aware of by pointing out SE's flaws

                edit edit.. last few lines were me cussing and him like "im sorry sir theres nothing i can do.". just took em out altogether so as to not break forum rules

                  mmm sounds like this guy does not know what is going on, and does not know how to fix it, you need to bump this up to a manager, also you could have been nicer, and handled it better, you have to remember, these people are only doing their jobs. I got sick of people getting mad at me when their cable was turned off....and when their Dell PCs where not working....I have done 3 years of phone service to feel for these guys.....

                      It takes a lot of time to tell someone there isn't anything you can do for them. Sometimes they have to consult a helpdesk database in which the answers are all "I'm sorry, there's nothing we can do for you", and very rarely they have to go consult with a supervisor to find out that there's nothing they can do for you. It's a very time consuming process all in all.

If you where double charge, wait a month, if you are charged again, check to see if you aualy missed a month, if not then call and explain it in a nice calm manner, and dont be an ass.
