Sea is the common name for Al'Taieu. You only get access to it by getting to Chapter 8 in the CoP missions. By Ice he was referring to the Northlands Dynamics areas Dynamis - Xarcabard and Dynamis - Beaucedine which you can only get to by clearing the Dynamis areas in all 3 starting cities and Jeuno.

Overall, we had 3 orbs. We came with a full alliance of 18 people and divided up into 2 tank parties and a nuke party. So somebody trades the orb, 2 of the parties go in, and for some reason unknown to me, my entire party cannot go in. Somebody said they accidentally went in first for the single fight then went out. -.-

Second time, me and the blms go to the edge of the blue circle and I call a casting time. Bad thing happens. Half the blms actually cast and the other half is kind of walking around and resting. ( I even asked them if they were ready).

So the Tarutaru's health goes down to 80%, and the moment I cast, I'm dead. I mean, I go from full health to 0 in one hit from the Hume. I still can't comprehend what happened, because I had stoneskin and Blink up. Suffice to say, everyone was running around like idiots and we wiped alllllll over the place.

Third time went more smoothly. Me and the other blms get in the right place, start casting, and the appropriate people grab the other mobs off of us. So the mages eventually kill the TT and somebody pulled the Mithra back. We fought it, got it down to just about no health. Things are getting hairy, people are getting slept, people are dying. I eventually kill the mithra and we wipe. So there are 3 mobs left.
We reraise, and take the final two mobs. The elvaan didn't even have the time do benediction herself. :D

Edit: Even more of an accomplishment is that I REFUSED to manaburn it, even though when I shouted, people said I should blm burn it. It's more of an accomplishment, knowing that I put together a party that works, than cheating the mission and doing it the easy way.

I did the exact same thing with my DM, only it was our LS that did it. We had a wide variety of jobs from our members that needed it, so we decided to go at it normally. We wiped the first time, but did really well, so it was no surprise that we took them all down the second time. Luckily we had several tanks and plenty of mage support, so the DDs (myself included) could do what they do. It was a blast.

I ended up taking Suppa, cuz Bushi was gonna do me no good (and I'm glad I did, Brutal Earring + Assault Earring = Hawt, and Suppa will help my Blue Mage later).

I picked Bush because personally, I think the abyssal earring is a waste for blm. +2 int i can get from other earrings. +5 dark magic? So....I can drain for a tiny bit more health. >.>; As for scythe skill, that's even more useless.

Since I plan on taking Sam to 75 and no other earring really comes close, I chose the bush.

Finally got my Tavnazian Bell for my Briault! It only took about an hour this morning, with a 75 WAR friend (thank ye Necrid!) and his 75 BLM buddy (Thank you... Necrids friend whose name escapes me at the moment!!!). They are also going to help me get a party together, so I can be a smecksy WHM.

I'm also going to take a big chunk of my LS through 5-1 and 5-2, so wish us luck! If we do well, I'll be Rank Six soon :D

Sorry Mog, your gear is to up to date to look like real gilsellers. Now, maybe if you were all in your lvl 1 starting gear...
