Was fishing in Jugner Forest as WHM40/BLM20 and I get a tell: BCNM40 <Do you need it?> Normally I don't like pick up BCNMs, but I said why not, I'm up for an adventure. Was The Worm's Turn, they were already there.
One death (stupid BLM), craploads of erasing and curing, and I get a Ni scroll! Pretty amazing for a pickup party.
Along with money I'd been saving, I was able to buy my Elemental Torque. Left with 800k, I figure I'd try to bid on a Penitent's Rope (which had been running 900k-1mil). I do that from time to time, bid on stuff before I have the money, to see if I get lucky. Guess what? I got lucky! Now I have two of the nicest pieces for my level.

Yesterday my Linkshell fought the tier II Jailers for the first time. We defeated all three (Prudence, Justice, and Hope). I got to tank all three and they were fun fights. (Hope was easy, Prudence and Justice were much harder for us) All three dropped Virtues, so now we have a JoL pop set. We are going to hold the set for a while because we aren't quite ready for JoL yet.
I got one of the drops off of Justice -
I have a stack of Luminion Chips to get the stones, I just gotta do the "In the Name of Science" quest to trade them

My WHM hit 36 over the weekend, finally! I did the Mea quest, got my fame to level 4 and did the holla quest, and now I'm working on my Bastok fame for Dem.
Then I finally get to switch back to my 36 BLM and start progressing through the ranks. Go me!!!
(I know, I'm not as cool as all you other guys )

I soroed an overgrown ivy for CoP 3-3! :D
Died the first time even after manafonting. However, I reraised and gave it another shot. For some strange reason I cannot place, I aggroed one of the puks. Don't ask me how.... I casted no AoE attacks, it was annoying the living shit out of me. I didn't want to waste the mp of killing it, so I constantly slept the little bastard so I wouldn't get interrupted while casting on the hundreds-fist ivy. Suffice to say, I kept sleeping the ivy, I rested, nuked, slept ivy, rested, nuked, rinse and repeat.
Went very well, considering I didn't have manafont this time and that little bastard was hitting me the entire time.Comment

Cleared Dynamis-Windurst and finished Zilart Mission 5 today.^^ Tomorrow will hopefully get me to sky, and if so, my first Kirin. If not, well there's always next time.
I have not gotten any more levels on RDM, however. And after my deaths in Dynamis, I've got my work cut out for me.

Because I'm level 66, and my sleepgas don't always stick, but still piss the mobs off. :/
And at least two of them were because I ran up at the wrong time to haste/refresh someone.
Anyway, today I succeeded in not finishing the Zilart missions (had stuff to do unexpectedly this morning) so I didn't get to go to Kirin (GJ tho, LS on some not bad drops), and I got the Dvucca Isle Staging Point (still need Ilrusi Atol), and I was invited to an exp party that didn't even leave Whitegate before disbanding.Comment
