Omega was only a bitch if he was facing you. Granted... as the video from last night will prove... I died a lot... but at full health, there's very little damage he can deal behind him. Almost all of his abilities are frontal cone, single target or short range AoE. The only one I kept getting killed by was "Light Barrage II(?)" that dealt very random amounts of damage. Sometimes it would hit me (as a SMN no less) for 150 and other times it would rip my SS off and 1 shot me. I'm not sure how damage on that ability is decided.

Gunpod didn't seem to prove to be a big deal either. I'm sure if they were left alive it becomes a real problem... but we handled them nicely.
I think the most damage Gen took was in the 800ish area. With a regular party setup and support healing, I think that would have been easily doable. The biggest problem with the way we did it was after the hate reset, unless one of the Garudas was alive for a long time, I was next on the hate list. Also, the silencega move has a radius larger than max cure distance, which sucks.

How to unlock GEO: Quest: Dances With Luopans
- Talk to Sylvie ( I-5 ) in Western Adoulin to begin the quest.
- Sylvie will ask you to bring her a Petrified Log and a Fistful of Homeland Soil KI.
- The Log can be purchased from the AH or farmed up in a number of ways. The Soil is obtained from the "Ergon Locus" ??? underneath the stairs of the Teleport Crag closest to your Home Nation. (Bastok - Dem, Windurst - Mae, San d'Oria - Holla).
- Once you have both items, return to Sylvie and trade her the Petrified Log. This will begin a CS that will start the next part of the quest.
- You are now tasked with finding an Ercon Locus. Sylvie's wording is pretty vague, but there are 4 locations currently known. Ceizak Battlegrounds ( K-10 ), Yahse Hunting Grounds ( F-6 ), Forest de Hennetiel ( F-5 ), Forest de Hennetiel ( E-11 ).
- Once you have found one, simply click on it and then have your character rest (/heal) next to it for 5 minutes in order to "Warm" your Loupan. Once 5 minutes have passed you will receive a message in the chat log indicating that "You feel a mystical warmth welling up inside you".
- Return to Sylvie to complete the quest and be rewarded with the ability to become a Geomancer (GEO) and a job specific Bell ranged weapon.
How to unlock RUN: Quest: Children of the Rune
- Speak with Octavien ( I-8 ) in Eastern Adoulin.
- Find a Yahze Wildflower Petal KI. To obtain one, head to (K-7) In Yahse Hunting Grounds and click on the "Yahse Wildflower" ??? found there.
- Return to Octavien and speak with him for another CS. This will prompt a "Use Rune Enhancement" minigame. You are given 100 attempts to manifest the power. It took me 61 tries, but I've heard of others who succeeded in as few as 15 or as many as 90. No reports as of yet of anyone failing all 100 times.
- Once you succeed, you will be rewarded with a Sowilo Claymore and the ability to become a Rune Fencer (RUN).

That brings to mind that I never did see the ending of WoTG. I'm not even sure where I left off.
I should go to YouTube and watch the story from the beginning. I remember
Late spoilers are still spoilers
the little dancer half-elvaan girl and how she was all distraught over her father's impending death
But I don't remember much else about it. I remember that I enjoyed the story and wanted to see how it would end but it was taking forever for them to roll out the WoTG content.
I'm gonna look that up. Unfortunately, not right now, I have to go to work.
The WotG story started off great, got kinda muddled in the middle, and totally fell apart by the end, imo. Cool things happened, but it wasn't very coherent.
