Oh man, that's gonna be a fun fight.

The most important thing you can do is to pimp out your Enfeebling set, because getting resisted can wreck you pretty hard. Other than that I'd say use Cream Puffs and just keep calm. Back when I did my Maat fight I went in expecting to lose and it helped me keep my cool and I ended up just wiping the floor with him. One wrong resist and he'll clean your clock though, so don't get discouraged if it takes more than one go to take down the crazy old man.

Grats Cid. Especially on the 1/1. I’ve probably seen like 2 out of 30+. Now you gotta find a synergist/scraps and get some augments on it ^^.

Good luck on Maat YM. Not sure how difficult it is these days I’ve always heard RDM was the hardest! YOU CAN DO ETTT!

**Crafting**
Cooking to 61.3!
Farmed up some Ziz meat because I want to make a couple stacks of Lynx jugs, which caps at 63. So maybe I’ll get a couple skills from there.
Farmed because I wanted the Jug and there’s none on the AH. And of course…there’s no Hare or Giant sheep meat either…/sigh more farming.
Goal is to hit 63 ish on that (and/or Bison steaks) then follow up with Pet Food Eta to ~69;

**Mythic Update** (in case anyone cares)
-13/50 Assaults, Trying to do them with other members but it’s hard coordinating time.
-100/100 Nyzul Isle Floors
-0/3 ToAU Bosses, haven’t attempted yet but im sure I can get 2 or 3 Bsts to help me soon
-0/1 Odin, haven’t started Einherjar (sp)…not too happy about it.
-3/4 Salvages, Just been lazy and haven’t gone for the ZR clear yet.

-3,000/30,000 Alex, So 10% of the way there!
-50,000/150,000 NI tokens, Should be easy though, got 1 or 2 people that are basically starting from scratch when I get to it.
-0/100,00 Ichor, My biggest fear…not sure how I’ll accomplish this
-0/50 Assaults, can’t start till I finish the first 50

-0/3 ZNMs, won’t be hard

As you can see…a LONG way to go still. But making progress.

I'll probably end up doing the augments myself, but I gotta spam synergy for skill-ups for a while yet before I can nail the really nice augments. Which reminds me I also need to burn some tatters on my Hecatomb feet.

I tried it once (synergy) and it seem complicated. Maybe it really isn’t but I’m not big on crafting to begin with. I’m just doing cooking so I can make jugs/food at my leisure. Sucks having to keep asking people to make me things. “Hey, drop what you doing for 30 minutes to make me food!!’.

As for the augments, think a buddy of mine got like ~+4 fast cast on them legs or something. Seems pretty good right? Or can rdm cap that pretty easily already?

How can I NOT want one of the rarest of rare axes?

I’m getting quite good as soloing SSR salvage. I just need to figure out a way to speed up the 2nd floor. It’s basically kill all 20 mobs in the room to pop a NM (100% purse dropper). Easy to do, just need to figure out how to take them down faster. That and the 4th floor. A lot of gears in a small room. things sometimes get interesting.

Averaging 75 alex a run (doing 3 runs) along with buying a stack per week. So I’m getting about 325+ alex a week. Even at that rate it’s still a long time till I get 30k…I gotta find another decent money maker (other than dynamis)

The augments on it are pretty sweet. I think I can get up to +5 fast cast, which is still useful since the fast-cast cap went up a few months back, and I think the Magic Defense Bonus maxes out at 6, which is awesome for my MDT build.

Synergy is not as complicated as it seems, but there's some legwork involved in getting into it. The skillups are pretty easy to do though. Imagine crafting, except your only expense is crystals and your ingredients can never ever be expended and you can craft stuff way above your current level. So it's just a matter of sitting in a corner with a synergy furnace spamming a really simple item for a while (and not actually completing it)and periodically refueling the furnace. Tedious, but not all that hard. I think you can use it for making jug pets and some of the recipes will give you more jug pets for the same ingredients as the corresponding synth, so that might be a thing to look into.

I’ve unlocked synergy if that’s what you mean. My bud Rook is at a decent level and we’ve been trying to get good augments on Byakko Haidate and Suzy feet.
Suzy feet can get +3 Haste, which means I can sell my Ryuga Sune-ate (although I’ll lose 10 acc )

I’ve seen some really nice haidates with +crit rate and +store tp.

I dunno, maybe I’ll look into it again sometime. but the plate has a lot on it as it is.

I spawned a Mimic in Abyssea today while demonstrating to Icemage what not to do if you suspect a chest of really being a mimic.

Farmed 2 coffer keys, just need mnk to find coffer in Beadeaux to open now for AF3. Dinged lvl 78 with Paladin while farming Keys and am now wearing Perle seat which is awesome!
