To be fair, enfeebling sets are still going to be useful to get something to stick for the full durationBut to land an enfeeb is now pretty much guaranteed unless an NM outright resists it or you cast say Paralyse on Firesday.
I may have read it completely wrong (or made this up, don’t remember) but I thought NMs will still resist. But every time it resists, it lowers it’s resistance till you land the enfeeb. Then resets.

Wouldn’t an enfeebling set still be needed to A) stick for duration as you mentioned and B) land sooner/more often?

I guess my point is, while it may be guaranteed, by the time a shitty mages lands it, it might not even be useful

      Romy is partially right.

First of all, "immunobreaks" (as they're being called) are not a sure-fire thing; they only have a chance of happening when the mob resists a spell. And then it does reset when the spell is landed. After this, some NMs will continue to build resistance as normal, and after some point will no longer even be susceptible to these "immunobreaks."

On the flip-side, however, resistances to Enfeebling Magic in general have been lowered across the board.

So, while an Enfeebling Set is good for making sure you get it right the first time (especially important for something like Saboteur), conversely, your last sentence isn't the only scenario which makes Enfeebling in general not that useful . . .

might as well list what I got done this week:

        WHM to 95
        Devotion Capped 5/5
        Barspells Capped 5/5
Shellra V Capped 4/5 because I was stupid enough to spend a point to buy Protectra V
WHM Group 1 and 2 merits finished. (Already had Cure Speed Capped)
        DNC to 82
        Saber Dance Merits 1/5
        Haste Samba Merits 2/5
        Reverse Flourish Merits 1/5
WAR (sub for DNC) to 45
Started building a Fire Dagger for DNC then realised it would be cheaper to just buy the Lv99 Daggers off the AH. Dagger is called Aluh Jambalyia or something like that and it works out it will save me about 2 Million Gil in Geodes and it drops from a really easy to farm VNM (or farm them myself)
Put Fire Dagger into storage for a rainy day
Got one of those fancy new staves for my WHM. Gained a bunch of Inventory Space.

Because I'm an idiot or masochist (probably both), I'm also very tempted to level THF or SMN when I cap DNC.

              THF or SMN?

THF is the easy road... SMN is the hard road. Choose wisely. There's no turning back if you have something like a an incomplete SMN staring you in the face every time you look at your job list.

To Do List for SMN (just to be basic):

              - Collect all the weather to unlock the job
              - Build up your nation Fame to 6 (4 for Tenshodo) or higher to unlock each area's Avatar fight.
              - Kill all 6 avatars
              - Kill all 6 avatars again for access to the Fenrir right
              - Progress to 5-3 in CoP to fight and defeat Diabolos
              - Fight Diabolos again... this time after he's had his wheaties
              - Buy or farm all 8 Elemental Spirits

and if you're serious about SMN...

              - Kill all 6 avatars again to get Evoker's Ring
              - Progress to the very end of ToAU
              - Fight Odin Prime (after completing an absurd amount of requirements) with a group of people who have also progressed to the end of ToAU and have access to the Odin Prime Fight.
              - Fight Alexander Prime (after completing an absurd amount of requirements) with a group of people who have also progressed to the end of ToAU and have access to the Alexander Prime Fight.
              - Level RDM to 49
              - Magian Staves

Oh... and good luck with skillups. I've been playing SMN for 7 years now and my skill has never been capped. Im at 413 now and closer to the cap than I have ever been before. This new 2-hour gives me new hope to capping that skill quicker.

Well the only Avatars I need are Fenrir, Alexander and Odin (can't remember if I have Diabolos or not but I am past him in CoP)

But I would have to touch RDM again since it's at 45...Can't I just sub SCH? =p

As for Magian Staves...Well it may be easier to build them on SMN than WHM given that trying to solo on WHM with a staff rather than twin Clubs is like tickling mobs with a nerf bat.

Once there, you must once again cross the new halfway point, 7.5 feet. You can continue to subdivide the remaining distance as many times as you want.

Both paradoxes rely on subdividing time or space infinitely. But just because a sequence is infinite it doesn't mean its sum is infinity. 10/2 + 10/4 + 10/8 + 10/16 + ... adds up to 10. It's obvious that you can move 10 feet regardless of the fact that you can subdivide 10 feet infinitely. The hare will still pass the tortoise.
I'm illiterate to the math of infinities. I just took the apparent invalidity of the paradox as a 2000 year old proof that a Planck length exists.

I /Sch on Smn. I choose it for the bonus of the corresponding arts and stratagem use.I prefer Sublimation to refresh because if I'm in need of Mp I will need a big chunk of it in an instant rather than over time, plus I have refresh on my gear.
I know there's convert but I'm not brave enough to be exposed like that. I've not felt at a disadvantage to where I feel /Rdm would benefit me more. Allthough saying that I don't partake in big things so I can't say for certain that /Rdm is the best option to take.

I do get asked why I /sch by people though. Nobody has called me anything bad once I explain my choice but it has made me think a few times if I'm doing it right.

I don't know how I'd live without accession though.

You'll make a profit skilling up to 65. Bison steaks sell pretty fast and at least on Valefor they turn a decent profit. Getting from 65 to 70 is gonna be the tricky part. The only recipe I see there is squid sushi and that's a pretty flooded market. It'll take forever to sell off all the stacks I'd end up with since each synth creates half a stack of the stuff.

I'm retarded. There's pet food right there. I need to use the BG wiki more often.

There's no such thing as being illiterate to anything, there's only bad explanations.

Imagine I offer you a pizza, on the condition that every time you reach for the box you need to take half of what's left. So the first time you grab half of the pizza. The second time you cut up the half that's left and take 1/4th. The third time you take 1/8th, and so on. Here's the thing: you can keep cutting up that pizza as many times as you want*, but you can't create more pizza**.

"Thank you, Captain Obvious!" you say. Then I punch you in the gut for getting uppity and you throw up all the pizza slices, intact. Let's put the pizza back together:

                              1/2 + 1/4 + 1/8 + 1/16 + 1/32 + 1/64 + 1/128 + 1/256 + ... = 1 pizza

Saying an infinite sum can add up to a fixed number is just a really obtuse way of telling you what you already knew: you can subdivide things infinitely.

                              * Not according to most physicists, but if you've ever had one make you a pizza, you'd know they don't know shit about pizza.
                              ** Unless you're a wizard.
