Had a busy night. Good ol’ squiggs suggested some Amarok/Orthus for Blm seals/claw. While a little annoying to proc Red and Yellow on them all, we were able to get Squiggs some seals.
Preceded to brew 4 Othrus and somehow I magically got 8 Claws off the 4 with 0 form of Treasure Hunter.

After that we decided to try some assaults.

Now just out of curiosity…WHY have I never done these before? The ones we did were basically hack & slash but I was reading some of them and they seem much different than most other events.

We beat Golden Salvage and Leu Cleansing (easy stuff) but failed Imperial Agent Rescue. Couldn’t get them to break the gates for some reason (any suggestion).
What a fun concept that mission was though…trick Mamool into breaking gates?

Been reading some of the others. Seems like strategy plays a bigger role in most of them. I’m excited to do them!

Spent some time this weekend leveling cooking up to 46. Now I have significantly less gil and more Selbina Butter and Pie Dough than I know what to do with.

The bad news, I still came up 5 BLM seals short and need 21 more JoA to finish my +2 bodies.
The meh news, I think I'm the only one that needed BLM and I won 2/3 of the lots for JoA.
The good news, you still have a whole lot of Orthrus left.

Decided to level BLM to make myself more versitile.

Any advice on merits when I get to that point? I'm planning on Burst II, Freeze II and Thunder/Ice Potency+ respectively.

Is that still the standard or do I need to mix it up a bit?

I lost all of my pie dough and butter when the servers merged due to me using the "mail items to yourself for free storage" glitch. If you ever want to offload some let me know XD

I know that's pretty rough for you in your time zone... but that's when I'll be on.

I have to finish leveling my BLM and convert some cruor into gil so that I'm not dead flat broke anymore.

Lets see...

All the aga 2 spells were 10k each... so thats 50k
All the aga 3 spells were highly varied... but I got them for around 200k
All the T3 spells were around 20k each... so that's 100k
All the Tier 4 spells varied... but I got some for cheap and it ended up around 250k
Quake was like... 20k
Flare was around 100k
Freeze was astonishingly... like 10k
Tornado was almost 200k

I got dumped onto Valefor during the big merges. My character there is called Sardia. Have WHM (90's) and DNC (80's) pretty high with PLD and COR in the 60's

Can I ask a salvage question rq here instead of creating a new topic?

When it comes to gears, if you attack them with ranged (say Bst with killer shortbow and shitty arrows), they won’t warp out right? Is it only if they detect you first?
