Completed Mixed Signals. Since my next Fellow Limit Break is Clash of the Comrades, and my Fellow's level cap is 65 now, I have the distinct feeling that it won't be an immediate concern any time in the near future, even with constant usage of my Fellow in GoV. If anything, I'll probably want to wait until level 75 to complete, along with a multitude of other Quests and Missions, Clash of the Comrades.
Completed Whence Blows the Wind.
Along the way, I was reminded that Bostaunieux Oubliette exists: a GoV dungeon for my new level range literally right under my home nation! "Homing Instinct" to Jeuno means I can also book back-and-forth between San d'Oria and Jeuno as much as I please (and my tabs allow, but GoV tends to be awesome enough to not let that be a problem).
I think I'll be taking this next week off of FFXI to focus on RL stuff. And also to let it set in that I'm a level 60 Red Mage now.
Vana'diel just plain looks different, and I'm hardly even 60% of the way to the top!
HOw did you find Bostaunieux Oubliette <- (copy paste from ym's post) as a lvl60 Rdm? I'm looking where to go with my 66 Rdm. I've really been enjoying reading about peoples adventures I feel it's summoned the adventurer within us from the old days.
my accomplishment was getting a truckload of merit points (60), I still have a way to go. But I'm glad I have 4 lvl 95 jobs Smn Pup Dnc and Bst and not a single one of them was burn't leeched in abyssea, well except for merit points.
I bought myself a fervor ring to pair with my evokers and then realised I don't have the evoker's ring, I have all the tiems but I just need fenrir done again lol.

So I finally managed to solo Deelgeed. Not really sure what was different this time. Went in with my normal melee set like I'd tried before, complete with atma lineup I'd tried before(Gnarled Horn, Razed Ruins, Siren Shadow). Maybe I was just luckier or better about keeping shadows up, but I finally killed him. Of course I didn't get the drop so I'm sitting here waiting for him to respawn for round 2.

Round 2 did not go so well. I just got lucky. En-petrify is bullshit.
I like how it essentially makes my entire (visible) TP set red. Not to mention how nice the piece itself is. I handed my old Precision Bandana to an LS member who was starting up RDM.

Turns out Ulhuadshi is a breeze on Bst. I dunno…maybe I wasn’t 99 when I first solo attempted. I remember it being a rough experience.
Used one jug and one Healing Salve II. No pet food. So pretty cheap. Didn’t even need full –pdtPet set. Killed about 4 of them over the weekend.
But ya…so…
Itz Scales - 32
Ulh Fangs - 7
If I end up getting 20 or more fangs by the time I get 50 scales…I might as well go for a verth…right?
