Completed "A Moogle Kupo d'Etat!" and got my Anwig Salade. Gave it "Accuracy +3 Pet: Critical Hit Rate +3%" and "Attack +3 Pet: Damage taken -10%"

That now gives me a total of 38.25% -PDT without Ducal Guard active and 63.25% -PDT with.

Just out of curiosity, where are you coming up with those numbers? Pretty sure Ducal Guard gives you -50% DT

You know what? That's my bad. I misread what was written. It is actually 50% not 25%. SO...that means below 50% hp my pet has 88.25% -PDT (Even better!)

Got a Twilight Torque!

That puts my Red Mage's PDT set at 47% and my MDT set at 28%.

I'm pretty happy about this.

Also accomplishment: tanking Shinryu after shit hit the fan and we tried to take him down without a brew. Bodies hitting the floor everywhere, I'm pulling hate and not falling over dead, so we all just kinda ran with it.

I think with the cure formula updates Cure IV might be a decent hate generation tool now. Dunno how sustainable it is outside though.

I've already got the Shadow Belt, I just need to go hunt Indrik.

Unfortunately, I'm reasonably certain I'm not going to be able to solo him and the last time I encountered him with a PUG ended with adventurer intestines draped all over Uleguerand Range.

Are hunting UFO organs hard anymore now that evreyon is level 99? I remember it was a fun ending to a limbus run, getting 5 of us BLM's together and a BRD, and go out hunting UFO's... good times...

Nah, /NIN and they're pretty much a joke for RDM. Then again that one night I went /THF and got ambushed by a Yovra while already aggroing a bunch of aerns didn't end well.

Soloed Suzaku.

The only difficult part is remembering to match his chainspell so you can spam stoneskins as he chain nukes you. Other than that I was pretty much able to straight tank him with no problems.
