Huh... interesting. Now I don't want to be here so I could look up how THF, DNC, BLU, and SAM relic armors change. I saw one of my buddies last night had an augment on his THF relic hands last night and forgot to ask. His was some augment for Perfect Dodge or something. Maybe that's totally seperate though.

I think 4 of the 5 pieces enhance merits and the 5th piece enhances your 2hr.
I know the ‘enhance Familiar’ effect for Bst increase charm duration to 40 minutes (instead of 30).

According to BG Wiki, it adds 10 seconds to perfect dodge for thf

Interesting. I went on a Dyna-Qufim run last night. Idk how my LS is running it yet ... I have to ask the leader what the generic rules for acquiring relic +2 things is exactly. He wants me to pick what I want by next week... guess I have to do some research. So, Romy, sounds like it's best to do one job AF2+2 rather than several of the best pieces from all my jobs?

Serra 3/3. And that actually finishes my weekly goals, yay! Now on to Bugbear Strongman. I hated this NM when I was trying to farm up those Haidate long long ago. Can't remember anymore if it was difficult to make him spawn or just difficult to make the pants drop though. Whatever... guess I'll be chilling with the Mobbies and Gobbies again. Gonna have to break out my Gobbie Coif.

I was finally able to "fight" in enough Bastion "fights" to get my Goetia pants, although I'm still completely unable to get the boots.

And if this is just for the base items... completing the actual trials is most definitely going to suck. Hopefully I wont get tired of it and go back to Skyrim.

But not so sure anymore. <_<;

Did Dynamis - Xarc this morning. Aside from getting tons of currency... I walked out with WHM hands, NIN hands, BST hands, COR hat and RDM pimp hat.

Not a bad haul. Im going back later for SMN hat and PUP hat.

Did Dynamis - Xarc this morning. Aside from getting tons of currency... I walked out with WHM hands, NIN hands, BST hands, COR hat and RDM pimp hat.

No no no, by all means mix and match. There’s no ‘set’ bonuses or anything so no reason to get full sets. I’m just crazy when it comes to Bst and want everything ><.

Just keep in mind…
To get the +2 with augments, you must earn xp with the piece equipped. So if your soloing and you want to upgrade your WHM relic gear…you’re gonna have a tough time.

If you’re going Thf and you want to upgrade your Thf gear…it’s gonna be pretty easy.

Ah... I didn't understand that the augmentation comes from experience in a zone... gotcha... okay... cool.

Yea sorry. 2 trials to fully upgrade.

Trial 1: Relic + forgotten items = +2 relic (augmentless)
Trial 2: +2 relic + xp = +2 with augments

Even without the augments though there are some stellar pieces.
Bst Feet +2 (no augments) give +30% hp to reward now oppose to 20%

Watch Zoraal axes take a dip now that Bsts will only need 1 instead of 2.

All this recent talk about Pup made me jump on it again last night.
It was at 92 ; ;. I’m a little pissed I ddn’t cap it at 95 when it came around.. I’m pretty sure I capped ALL puppet skills at 90, not looking forward to doing another 9 levels of skilling up ranged attack…

Ranged attack isnt a problem. Magic is. You either deal with the delay on BLM pup or you go with WHM pup and battle the "resist everything" Abyssea mobs.

Fight Tigers or Bones. Or anything that inflicts status aliments on a regular basis.
Your whm spams –na spells. And those skill up like craaaaaaaaaaazy.

Got about 5 or 6 levels last night in Aby-LTP in about an hour. Sad thing is I got like 4k xp because by the time I finished tigers were only giving me 20xp per kill lol. For the first 45 minutes I was getting 0 xp…

I've been targeting Limules. They cast para/burn/shock/dia/statusdown etc. I'm getting around 4-5 Skillups for over an hour of time in the zone. I'm using MM, Impregnable Tower and Meciless Matriarch. I need the Macc if I even hope to land any of the debuffs my pup likes to try to cast. Silence is finally starting to stick on a regular basis.

Today I got to 256 without merit bonuses. I'm going to change out those merits for Ranged once I hit the Automaton Magic cap. I'm told they're useless for anything besides Macc now.
