When I have farmed T1 VNMS I don't remember being capped after 6... I remember pearl being a painful process. VNMs seemed to give the most but I didn't notice the amount progressively climbing.

That can't be true romy... I think avatars are just random amounts. I know I killed Garuda and got 150 amber.... all in one kill... but other times I get as little as 8. I think its entirely random.

Found it in 6 hours of Casket farming. I thought that was bad...until I found out somebody else I knew found theirs after 4 days of 6 hours each run.
Also, NPC reached level 79 at that time.

Did my first Dynamis run and cleared Jeuno. It was a lot of fun. Gonna do it every Monday with the same group.

Side note: Anyone on Cerb know anyone that wants to buy currency?

Casket hunting is probably the most terrible loot system ever.

Or just park yourself somewhere in Jeuno with prices that are slightly lower than the going rate and it should clear out fairly regularly.

I don't afk bazaar because I'm terrified of my Xbox overheating and dying again, but I didn't even know about that website. Thank you. I'll spend some time there methinks.

You can also look up currency on FFXIAH and see who's listed as wanting to buy it.

I do it all the time when I have currency. Only thing I see that happens is that I need to shutdown completely if I want to play. I come back and everything lags too much and if I am doing the usual stuff adventuring my xbox will freeze and I'll have to shut-down anyway. Is it a new xbox or a refurbished RRoD'd one that died on ya?

My new one died first, and then the next two refurbished ones that they sent to replace it. They finally sent me another new one that has lasted 7 months so far.

They finally sent me another new one that has lasted 7 months so far.

If it's truly new then I wouldn't think afk-bazaaring would present a problem. I bought a arcade 360 instead of sending my last one back over 2 yrs ago so I'd have an HDMI hookup and I've not had any problems with RRoD. Only one scare and that happened when somone knocked the plug out of the wall while I was playing (idr what). Was the other 3 red lights that came on and I was able to turn the system back on fine.

Casket farming is only really bad when it comes to boots, imo. Other casket drops are non-compulsory, they're impossible to monopolize so you never have to worry about competition and scarcity, and even if you don't get exactly what you want you can probably pick up a pop set or two along the way. I may have spent 20 hours total in konschtat trying to get a refresh hairpin to no avail, but I got some decent dark rings, filled out my key item lists multiple times, and it's a low stress way to pass a few hours in a semi-productive manner.

I think you have confused pyxides with caskets. Pyxides are fine.

Casket farming is a very special kind of hell.
