Uleguerand and Grauberg.

Those are tough to get done. Uleguerand only cuz NOBODY doesn it for anything other than the clear and many already have it at this point so PUGs are rare/ex. Grauberg is difficult simply cuz if you get into a PUG for it, more than likely they will not know how to kill the damn thing without tears and pain. Good luck though. LOL... just remembered I still want that useless Raider's Earring from the NM that drops the KI for the Grauberg boss too. That thing was a pain in the ass too when I fought it last.

Question: intuitively, it would also be equally abhorrent to trade a character for in-game goods or services (though in practice that probably wouldn't happen all that much, simply for the way FFXI was designed). Does it not qualify as RMT, though?

Yeah... I been doing a social media gig for a haunted cornfield lately on Th,Fri, Sat... then Improv on Sundays... then girlfriend... then I went and bought Gears3 (barely play it cuz...), I bought Dark Souls (amazing can hardly put it down when I have time to play) and I have Ico/SotC collection (always wanted to play them). I have tons of games I've not touched cuz of FFxi (PS3: LBP, InFamous, 3D Dot Hero, Uncharted 1/2 - 360 AssCreed 2, Darksiders, Bastion) ... I'm not even really playing vids but my library of back-playing is daunting.

Borderline solo'd Isebing last night.

i say borderline because i got it to less than 50% for a Cor friend's gun. I think he was getting bored though and asked another bst to come an speed it up a tad.

But in getting it to 50% ish i only used 1 slug and maybe 2 Etas. As most Bsts solo's go...was long and somewhat boring, but i believe it's another NM i can mark on the list.

Picked up another Abyssite of Avarice by killing Quetzalli. So now I'm able to hold 5 traverser stones at a time. I didn't even know that existed.

I've been forced by two of my sackholders to work on working on getting more Abyssites recently, so I've been spending most of my time seeing what drops what. I didn't have a clue about most of them.

I still need to get the ones that boost pearl light. Farming Dark Rings just doesn't work when I build pearl so slow

Yeah.. I'd like to get the ones I haven't yet. I'd like to get the last one that boosts cruor stat buffs but I have a feeling the one I need is the reward from a quest I don't have the fame for... I hate Aby-fame.

I thought T1 VNMs were the best way to build pearl. Don’t they give enhanced? I could be wrong but I thought…

VNMs give enhanced pearl
Murexs give enhanced azure
RoamingAvatars give enhanced Amber
Not sure about Ruby…maybe all other NMs?

I thought VNMs just gave guaranteed pearl? They didn't give any huge bonuses whenever I've tried.

i had 'heard' enhanced and by that i mean not so much as 50 pearl per kill.
more like the first kill gives 8, 2nd kill gives 16, 3rd kill givs 32, 4th gives 64...etc

so after 6 or so kills your capped. I'm pretty sure thats the case for Avatars/Amber lights and i though someome on BG mentioned vnms worked similarly with pearl.

if you tried it though and thats not the case, then thanks for clearing that up...cause i havent offically tested it (sorry for spreading rumors ; ; ).
