LoL. It's always discouraging when you've worked hard at a job and you see someone else start from nothing and buzz right past you. Hell, I'd be willing to bet that Murph is a better NIN than I am right now.

Meh... he has a hell of a lot more time to play than I do. I wish I had the time to play more than a sparse 2 hours here and there.

My Kaftan is for real. Not "For real." And I still have tons of seals to get for NIN. And then relic hands...and other shizz (Seiryu and Byakko Tatters so I can hopefully get crit rate upgrades.)

How does one obtain these tatters anyway. I haven't bothered to look it up recently. I see them all over the place in people's bazaars, but I wasn't sure what they were for. Upgrades you say? Like augments?

Yes, you can use Synergy to Augment the items. You get tatters by using a synth on seals. So, Byakko's Seal desynths into like, a handful of Tatters, which you can then use to try for a good augment on Haidate. Same process, different name for Seiryu's Kote (which I use for a few things, and would use more if I had a nice Crit Rate + augment).
