Went on a Flan killer run in Aby-Kon... ended up having a bunch of people with Emp. Weapons help other party members needing the kills... killed like 160ish in a day... still need 38 or so.

Fought Medusa for the first time. LS was just looking for something to do outside of Abyssea to do. Pretty fun fight.

Tail Slap ... learned.

Tail Slap from Medusa is epic. Not sure if win, though.

Even survived a run-in with a truly pointless NM.

SCH from 83 to 90 with capped exp and merits...I like Break. It makes me happy.

Left PT with 600 min left in La theine so worked on some quests...pffffft ahahah seriously, what the hell am I supposed to do with 600 minutes.

SMN job merits done. Holding onto the 8 remaining merits for update since school is starting soon and I dunno when I'll be able to do something stupid like this again.

Duoed an Ohat for my NIN's EVA build. Still a few pieces to go, but that's not so bad. NIN and SCH, btw. Wasn't bad at all.

Aias Bonnet and Loki's Kaftan. Getting quite pimped out. Also finished my VNM sword trials so there's only about 30 Briareus standing between me and Almace now.

My accomplishments aren't quite as cool as Lago's, but I did finally get a Sobek kill, as well as the Atma and a Kamome. And after about a bajillion kills I managed to upgrade my Iga feet to +1.

I also realized that I simply do not have a niche in most groups. I don't excel at any of the jobs I currently have leveled. So do I level something else? If so, what?

Yes, but the caveat to that is "when solo" or "when in very small groups." When it comes to larger ventures I simply don't have enough to offer. Also, by limiting myself to the handful of jobs I have currently leveled, I can't fill as many roles, and MNK NIN and BLU are awfully common in most groups. So those slots are usually already filled.

Got Tantra boots/head +1 and tantra ammo.

The abyssites to lower my stone recharge from 20 to 8hrs

4/6 on the cratue somethingsomething NMs, just gotta waste Rani and Raja now.

5/9 zone bosses.

Soloed some UFOs with MNK/NIN, just need some aern organs to finish my light gorget.

Got tantra/creed legs after an hour doing resistance fights, and 4/8 tantra leg seals.

This week I'm hoping to finish Tantra +1 set, and get 9/9 6/6 on bosses to get Shinryu access, afterwards I'll start getting my PLD AF pieces HQed and work on Briarius to finish my Almace.

Those seem like pretty useful jobs to me (I hadn't gathered that you have MNK levelled too). What else would your large group need from you? If you levelled BLM or WHM you would probably be stuck on that one forever. WAR is pretty common too, so you may end up stuck like you are with your current jobs. Maybe level all of them?

To be fair, ninja is not a job you become good at overnight. In the old days you wouldn't hit 75 without 200 hours of practice timing shadows vs different mob types and clawing your way up the hate list. You just don't have that yet.

Does umm ... mnk require skill, really? Or is it just that you're undergeared on it?

I have been feeling like I am in a slump lately so I have been skilling up lately. I can only whm and blm so much. I figure I could try to be a ninja and that didn't work to well. So I am now playing with pld since I always liked the job. I figure I will do alot better the more I get comfortable with it.
