Rank 7 in Sandy and finished the quest for full storage in my Mog House.

A friend who took about a year break has come back. He hasn't abyssea'd yet or anything, he wants to practice up before hand. Took him down to quicksand and we duo'd the bastok 8-1 mission. or more so as he put, he came to help with the weight doors and to watch me rip apart three anticans NM's. Fun fight, but only then did he realize his 77NIN is indeed in need of some serious leveling up. BLU FTW once again.

Wow, I completely blanked on that mission. I had to Wiki it to remind myself about it. I do remember that 8-2 for basty is in Palborough against 4 Quads. Duo'd that one at 80 with my WHM and a SAM. BLU would probably destroy it, what with all the different sleeps they have.

Got my first piece of AF3+1. Soloed Manohra but it was a pain and I finished getting seals with a nearby group.

I did Sandy 7-1 this afternoon. It was rather funny to see me retaliate so much when he used Hundred Fists. There was a lot of swinging going on.

Rank 8 Bastok. The BC fight in the Shrine went a lot better than I expected. Shiva's Sleepga worked like a charm and Avatar's Favor and gear let her have a cost of 0. So I just let her slap those Quadav silly, resleeping as needed. I was able to have her get first hate, which really made things even simpler.

Decided to mess around in Dyn-Beau. Killed 4 of the TEs with little trouble. Really messed up the eye though. Didn't know if the Hydra linked or not, so I tried to fight in a corner that was aggro free. Almost had it but hate issues a Thundaga III and a botched Predator Claws got me killed. So sucked it up, RRed (yay grounds tome RR3), ran back down to the Quadav and sneak pulled RDMs and BRDs until my time ran out. Still got proc a fair number of them. Walked out with some bills, but no relic. Oh well, free money. Next time, I'll pull the eye to the ramp and kill it there. Long pull and carby does not last long against its magic. Damn thing depops instantly, which sucks.

DNC to 66, though I am starting to think I am spending far too much time walking around in Elvaan feces in the sewer underneath the Chateau.

Over the weekend, farmed all of the AF coffers for my group. The grand totals were:

4 garlaige
3 Eldieme
2 beadeaux
2 quicksand caves
2 kuftal tunnel
2 uggalepih
1 oztroja
1 davoi (newfound hatred for the place acquired)
1 crawlers nest

The 3 zilart area coffers I needed 2 for for the map and the armor piece.

That freaking Davoi though, went in @ 56, came out @58-59, grinding at ~5k an hour, I must have been there for like 5 hours not including wipes while I tried to find a decent camp site where I could pull safely, rest without aggro (freaking tower) and not worry too much about respawns.

Set up a Freeze magic burst macro for the lulz, only used it about 5 times before I decided watching my BLM get hammered wasn't that funny, and that eyeballing mob HP to make sure it dies was more trouble than it was worth.

Also got some Haste and Refresh macros set up. Didn't do it at 41 because GoV refresh was enough for almost no down time. It only really became an issue when there wasn't a tome nearby.

At this point I only need a zvahl coffer key, a whine cellar key, and then popping a slew of NMs for 4 hats and a couple of chest pieces.

Knocked out the Ops for Ducal Guard. Just need to do the quests, which means getting fame up in Grauberg, blech. I really like killing the pots. Easy kills with Ramuh and 3300 for the Op. Its a bit of a run back to Wolfgang's camp though. Djinn are fun too, but I need to remember to go to those as /RDM for quick TP feed and boomage.

4/10 Mavi seal: body - Droprate on the Hydra in Grauberg sucked for me. Out of 8 pops I got 2 seals. The quest in Altepa sucks... I've gotten 2 RDM, 2 RNG, 2 PUP, and 1 BLU and a whole lot of nothing... currently on a 0/8 roll in getting any type of seal.

Did a Besieged... we wrecked those Trolls. Got 15k exp and around 5-6k I.S., so I finally upgraded my Mog Locker to 80.

I'm finally getting around to doing Einherjar a lot because LS is anticipating augments for gear. After thinking about it for a while, I decided to use my Ichors toward an Omega Ring.

Took SCH from 50 -> 90 over the weekend. I had 20 merit points waiting for me when I capped XP, so that was nice.

I was able to immediately upgrade the Savant's hands and legs, which was super nice. Also had a couple pieces of relic waiting for me. Having WHM, RDM, and BLM levelled means my skills were already capped, so syncing in book burns and the uber-faxt-exp of abyssea didn't set me back skill-wise.

I'm looking forward to finishing up my merits and then working on the next job to 90!

I had the most Ghetto-fabulous Raja win tonight. We must have kited that thing for nearly an hour after the NIN went down and everything went to shit. We killed it approximately ten minutes before maintenance started. It was pretty awesome.

Ha ha ha... Davoi has always been infamous to me for just how hard it is to get a key to drop. Whether it has been for myself or for someone else.
