Signed on this afternoon with the idea to finish that Mog House cleaning I didn't get to last night. An hour later and I have Atma of the Minikin Monstrosity. I swear I'll get that cleaning done sooner or later.

Was bored on my day off so decided to log on and mess around in Abyssea - Tahrongi for a bit. Managed to get Viridian Abyssites of Destiny and Avarice from Ephemeral Limule and Ephemeral Clionid, 1/1 each. I have no idea if they are 100%, I really don't play enough to say anymore lol, but was happy none the less. Watching Avatars triple attack is quite amusing. (Was using Atma of the Lion for -PDT because I don't have Ducal Guard yet)

Got VV atma. It was rather depressing though, all the NM fights I attend in Abyssea seem to consist of me sitting on my hands for the whole fight.

Spells learned (309 skill w/o gear):
Heat Breath (Onzozo) got Gobln Rush from aggro while I was there.
Radiant Breath (Riverne) found that "Blazedrake" wyverns are not to be trifled with.
Magnetite Cloud (W. Altepa) the ants at the zone do it constantly.
Ice Break (Ro'Maeve) when I'm not BLU they spam it. 1/3 for when they use it but I killed maybe 50 of them.
Maelstrom (SSG) again... they spammed everything but the one I wanted when I wanted the spell.
Mind Blast (AbyVunkerl) the flayers are squishy w/ 3 atmas and capped merit abyssites.
Animated Wail (AbyTahrongi) these deadies are ez at 90 w/ abyssea buffs.
Memento Mori (AbyTahrongi) see Animated Wail.
Plenilune something (AbyLaTheine) 1/1
Asuran Claws (past Jugner) I was 1/2... my buddy was lucky. He got aggro'd while we were fighting one and ended up killing it w/ 41 HP left and he learned the spell.

Memento Mori (AbyTahrongi) see Animated Wail.

I spent 2-3 nights in attohwa the other day trying to get this spell. Pattern was always 1) they use Memento Mori 2) I get them down to 2-5% 3) they use macabre dance and charm me 4) they instantly despawn 5) ... 6) no profit. I wasn't even able to kill one until the end of the 2nd night, and of course that one didn't use Memento Mori. Bastards.

Grats on your other spells. Learning can be a pretty fun diversion if a little frustrating on occasion, huh?

That's putting it lightly. Radiant Breath and Ice Break were two of the worst... Eyes on Me and Frenetic Rip were a pain in the ass as I recall as well.

DNC to 75 from 70: 2 Hours and 30 minutes
Dusk Hands and Dusk Feet for TP: 7k each
Using the 0 damage exploit to keep up Haste Samba without feeding Abyssea mobs TP: Priceless.

Beat 8-3 and Promathia for 8-4...finally. Just need to run around and finish all the cutscenes after JP midnight and I'll have a nice shiny Rajas Ring (I mean, Tamas Ring...no I mean Rajas Ring...no Tamas).

Sigh, I'm still undecided.

Our WAR proc's blue w/ a Wax Sword... it's awesome... wish it was a Onion Sword tho.

I wanted to try Beestinger + Enspells II before I was kicked out. Would've been interesting.

Beat 8-3 and Promathia for 8-4...finally. Just need to run around and finish all the cutscenes after JP midnight and I'll have a nice shiny Rajas Ring (I mean, Tamas Ring...no I mean Rajas Ring...no Tamas).

Rajas, you can always macro stuff and get the better bonuses than Tamas anyway. But for meleeing str/dex/tp are needed at the same time. Unless you desperately need those +2 inv space that is.
