Got Nin to 80 last night. I like it a lot to be honest.

Also started doing WoE for the lolEmp weapon with a buddy. So far we’ve done 4 runs. Here’s our progress so far.

Finally started my cure potency staff. Knocked off the first trial syncing in La Theine, then never saw the weather I needed in the last 3 1/2 hours I was playing this afternoon. Oh well, try again later.

Oh, and mnk feet too.

Um…didn’t we have a whole topic about what job you should be leveling…pretty sure COR was not the final result.


Anywho…killed 3 of the sky gods with our eyes closed last night lol

We did Suzaku, Genbu and Byakko. 3 Bsts, 1 Rdm. We even caught the Rdm off guard a little by not engaging right away after he popped Byakko. Brought back a lot of memories up there.

Also…have the gods always had a chance to drop two seals? I’ve done them a bunch and last night was the first time I saw 2 Genbu seals drop after we killed him.

Thought I would mention something that I wasn’t too proud of ><

While waiting for a member we were nonchalantly trying to pop despot. We saw it on widescan and ran over. Saw a Black Belt/Emp Mnk duoing it (don’t remember the other job). Seeing as the Mnk had an emp weapon and Black Belt along with I think some +2 gear, I assumed this would be a breeze for them. So I jokingly said in /s to my party ‘bet ya he dies’. And another member jokingly in /s said ‘100k, your on’

Well they died…and we couldn’t just let despot sit there ya know. I suggested giving them the item but majority rule said no.

Normally I would have no problem grabbing a NM that a group failed on…I just felt bad for mocking them in /s.
I swear I thought it would be a breeze for them ; ;

They didn’t complain nor do any emotes. I was gonna /t them and say sorry for making the rude joke…but felt that might be adding fuel to the fire.

I honestly thought they were gonna wipe the floor with despot…Hell I rarely saw people wipe to it in the 75 days. My only guess (which occurred to me like…an hour later) is that the PHer blew-up and killed them. Then they RR’d, saw despot and tried to fight weakened. But despot was at like 75% when we got there and well over 50% when they died, so don’t know for sure. But don’t Elvaan Mnks have like…a ba-jilion HPs? And he was /dnc iirc. Should always have stun ready for that stuff.

As for claiming...
I don’t spam my macros if mobs go yellow while the group still has a chance. I see it happen on the fish in abyssea-Mix all the time.
I do however spam it if the NM is walking back, regening, and on the brink of de-poping.

I was more than happy to give them the Gem…but apparently I was alone.

Got Nin to 86 last night. Ugly gear but…that will change eventually.

Got another coin of glory in WoE for lolemp Katana. Woot 2/30. It seems to rain Adv coins for my buddy though...

DESTROYED the 2 NM spiders for Nin AF quest.
