I held a very nice convorsation with Mhurron's wife this weekend. She's delightful.

Also: I had no idea she played... or for that matter... that Mhurron had a wife o.O.

Fun fact: I learned that getting into K.R. Tomb is actually very simple... and that I was over-complicating it. (7 years of playing and I had never set foot inside the zone... go figure)

Got Warrior to 59, so I can rock the Haubergeon I've had for awhile now. Now to skill-up Gaxe so I can get Raging Rush in another level.

Oh, and came back from a forced month off.

I just had to look at a guide and see that Remedy and Hi-Ether are what I should be making. Then I started farming Leshys in Lufaise for mistletoe to maek Remedies (they sell very well) and got a buttload of Dryad Root, for which I then had to farm four buttloads of Bat Wings to make the Hi-Ethers.

Anyhow, I'm hoping to hit 70 by the time the weekend is over. My goal is to make my own water anima, since hardly anyone sells it, and I don't blame them either.

I also got PUP legs in Dynamis Valkurm, but we failed on the boss because of low time and lolcharm.

Peacock Amulet - was bored and events hadn't started yet with my LS so, on a whim, I wandered into MoS and found Argus up and uncamped. 1/1 So now that I really no longer need it, I finally got it. Glad I never bought the PCC. Recently its price has been tempting me. Only for growing new characters. I have finally completed my "OMG you need these items for us to let a THF into our party!!!!" The 2007 holy trinity for new THFs: Bounding Boots, Empress Hairpin, Peacock Amulet ~ Acquired ~ ... and together they are CAPTAIN PLANET !!!

So I was soloing chigoes in aby attowha for evasion skill ups and first chest that dropped was a small gold one that contained thf and war AF3 boots lol. I have been needing thf boots for a while now and they just fall in my lap... /happydance. Shortly thereafter another chest dropped that had rdm boots in it. I needed those too!

I got 6/6 Abyssite of Sojourn and 4/6 Abyssite of Merit.

I need to work on the remaining 2 Abyssite of Furtherance as well as the remaining 2 Merit... and I can finally say that I'm as strong as I'll possibly get.

Warrior to 61 in a real live xp party. (okay, so it was 6 DD and a PL, but it was close to a real party) Killed the Antican NM for Tungi, so I can use it as soon as I cap Gaxe.

Ran into a rather difficult NM last night farming for body-pops. This is the first NM that has given my buddies and I any real trouble. Some ladybug out in Aby-Altepa. Really really HIGH evasion and hits like a freight train. We still killed it several times... but I think it's an accomplishment now a days to find such a challenge for a alliance of 90's. Kudos SE.

Something funny happened last night. After we all got out of Aby, one of my LS mates shouted in P. Jeuno "Congratulations to ____ on the birth of a baby girl" Suddenly a lot of people started congratulating them. The blank was our LS's leader, he was not in P. Jeuno at the time... and he has no baby. Was hilarious.

Little sadden though about my body piece…I’ve turned in probably well over 60 1st place trophies and the best I’ve gotten is Cure +11%.
While that’s still pretty good imo…I’m very jealous of my LS buddy who has cure +13% AND refresh.

Also, I think I’m 17/20 on collecting emph feet ><. I don’t know why I started collecting them…but maybe they’ll come in handy someday.

Got Alchemy up to 65.

And in the process, I had to farm Leshys for mistletoe to make Remedys, then I farmed bat wings to make Hi-Ethers. When farming Leshys earlier this week, I encountered Defoliate Leshy. I couldn't get the drop because I already had the earring, so I didn't think it was worth mentioning. But just now I came back for more and found Colorful Leshy, from which I did get his earring.

So yeah, both rare NMs from the same area in the same week.

I rescued a Beseiged prisoner! I noticed that Halvung had 2 prisoners, and I knew where one of the cell areas was, more or less. So I beat up on the trolls in Wajoam right in front of the Halvung entrance until one dropped a key.

The first time into the cage area I realized that the way I went in didn't connect, which I had noticed it from the other way a few weeks ago. So I tok the long walk around the little island, successfully avoiding all the wamouras. Then I avoided the mirror guards and other trolls and got right up into the cage area without being seen.

Then I decided to fight the Troll Targeteer, which would probably have been okay if the Black Pudding just outside hadn't magic aggroed. I was able to die at the back of the room and they both depopped, but you can't open a cage while weakened, and then I managed to aggro the other pudding somehow too, so I used a warp scroll.

So I tried again, this time going in the right way. I managed to aggro one of the trolls just past the mirror and took the wipe in a safe place. Then after recovering, I went up, deciding not to fight the troll. Sure enough, I got the cage open and then hit my warp scroll. I'm still waiting for him to get back to town for my reward.

EDIT: Oh boy, my reward was... a flaxseed oil. That's just so... awesome.

Went into Dyna-Xarc on SMN, which took substantially more concentration than I ever used on BRD... still had a lot of fun though. Didn't have enough to even attempt DL, but we farmed a good bit (4 dnc bodies dropped), attempted the Animated Shield... someone decided to heal during the sack pull of the mass of shields and it was a continuous Shield Bash effect, so we all wiped (now 0/2). When the new changes come out, I'm sure it'll be a good bit easier.

Did some random farming in various Abyssea areas... all said and done I ended up with Atma of the Ducal Guard (Godly on SMN), Caller's Bracers +1, Twilight Belt, Caller's Pendant and the BLM AF3 cape (solo'd the Ironclad for both accessories, already had the PUP drop, so I tossed it). I'm also 3/10 done on my Garuda perp staff I just started.
