Finally got to log back in again this morning (Yay).

Guess there was some issues going around over the weekend and I wasn’t alone.

I got all geared up on Saturday and was about to duo with my Mnk pal. Talk to horst, asked him to warp me to Aby-Mis. Then he never warped me and everyone stopped moving/talking. Then after 30 seconds of some confusion, I noticed I was at 50% and sinking on the DC’ogram.

Then I got booted and was supposedly suspended for some reason. POL was telling me I had no content ID and I had to reactivate my account with a new credit card. Then I kept getting this USC-5024 error (or something) and it wouldn’t even let me get to the activation screen. Same thing happened all day Sunday.

Was gonna call today, but I tried again and logged in w/o issues this morning.

NIN 48 (almost 49) / ninjutsu capped at 48 - getting unsure if I want to take NIN to 90. It's cost quite a bit just to do the elemental wheel. Starting to think I don't really want a job that is just gonna be a giant hole in my pocket. I may just stop once I'm 49 and venture onto a different job (MNK, WAR, BLM, BLU, BST, idk)

Interesting, Romyro. One of our LS members couldn't log in on Saturday or Sunday due to some weird credit card/content ID thing. Hopefully he's back up and running.

My accomplishments for the weekend:

DNC to 68
Beat Shinryu & got his Atma. Yay!

While I was sitting in the (untimed) Shinryu area, I finally had a chance to write down all my atmas & what they all do. There are still a few I don't have (haven't done Sandy or Windy missions, haven't done WoTG missions, don't have the Moogle expansions), but I still have a lot.

There was a huge thread about that on the Official Forums. Apparently a lot of people got their content IDs randomly canceled even though that shouldn't have happened since April was free. It isn't like SE's billing hasn't always been completely retarded, though.

First of all, grats on almost being done with 2 +2 pieces.

Secondly, NIN really isn't as expensive as you might think. Depending on how you use it... the skills come fairly quickly and naturally. I personally never use the wheel unles I'm trying to proc a weakness or trigger a hint. As for Shadow tools... they're around 100k for 12 stacks of them. I bought my 12stack over a month ago and have just made it to my last 3 today. In that time... without even trying... I made about 2.5million while using the job. It really pays for itself. As for enffbling and self buffing tools... you use them so infrequently it's not really necessery to buy each individual type and jam up your inventroy. You're better off buying the "Universal tools" of each type and just keeping a stack of each one handy. They're about 20-25k a stack and in the same month... I haven't made it through more tha 2 stacks of each.

It's also worth noting that if you take the job to 90 and drop 5 merits into Ninja Tool Expertise... you'll get that 25% chance that any spell you cast wont even use up a tool. It's worth it... and the difference shows.

One of my members had that happen to him. Meridan's friend who joined the forum with him... his forum name is Steedious. If anyone suffered the same problem, you should talk to him about it and find out how he resolved it. He'd probably know best.

Well... the other thing is that I've already got a 'tank' job with DNC. Be a bit redundant to have NIN and DNC. I know the prices of the ninja tools... I already go through many many shadow tools on DNC, SAM, and THF since everyone wants a /NIN. I think them tool crafters get enough of my gil already. Think I'm just ready to shelve the job.

Still undecided tho. Last night kinda sucked cuz I joined a Worm Alliance in La Theine but am completely and totally maxed out on xp. I needed nothing from them other than cruor and WSs over 400dmg on the worms. I want a job to need the xp on =/

175/500'ish WSs over 400dmg on amorphs left to do.

Lotted awesomesauce on a head piece I never knew I needed for Evisceration WS swap out in Aby-Attowa.

Got Agasaya's Neck pc as well.

I always thought it was odd that more people have body/hands at +2 than Head/legs/feet…then I realize the scar KI guys are constantly camped for Emp weapons…as well as the +2 bosses ><

...and during that fight, others from the LS came into the zone to fight Carabosse. Once Lion dropped, I just wanted to have fun. While waiting for a group to stop hogging one of Carabosse's pop KI NMs, I noticed that the original group was fighting something, ohey it's Ovni, I want its abyssite, so I headed over to #7 to help finish it off. So...

* Did NOT get abyssite or atma from Ovni

I remember Hadhayosh. He was actually the very first NM I fought in Abyssea... and the very first Atma I ever recieved. Fun ass fight.

I also fought Ovni just the other day. I have SS posted of the fight over in the FFXI SS thread. Tanking that thing is a pain because of his stupid Equipment removal AoE move. Grats on your belt!

Atma or no atma... that's still an awsome story about Carabosse. 5 seconds left!!! Epic!

Well I've been a little busy for a change, Nothing major but.

Not too impressive, but I solo'd Ancient Vows last night. For someone who thought they'd never find a CoP group three years ago, it was a good feeling to be able to do it on my own.

I also kind of read up on these Magian Trial thingies, and I think I've started the right one for my gogoDDWHM set. Doesn't seem too difficult, besides waiting for Stray Mary tospawn.

Keitenotachi +2 - Hagun 2.0 route ... done. Finally. So tired of getting into Worm parties yet being capped completely on xp. At least I got lots o' cruor.

Homam Zucchetto... mine tho I don't have any use for it. Got the eyeball last Limbus run. Just now decided to turn it in.

Homam Manopolas... just got in last night's Limbus run. I am slowly getting free of those gd dusk gloves.

Heafoc mitts... went to La Theine to get someone else caught up in getting gear and a buddy got an upgrade from w/e tier we had and I lotted well and got these. Finally free of Alky-hands.

ASA... complete.. finally. Don't really know which pair of augments I'd want on which pair of pants.
