Did more skilling up on PUP (dagger, melee, ranged) in a mostly-LS Dominion alliance, then took an hour to help someone do CoP 4-3 (Sacrarium). Then I did a Dynamis-Windurst run to get my 4th Dynamis clear. I had gotten fireworks before going in so that I could set them off after getting the clear.

But that Dynamis clear was a bit close, because we had one straggler come in late. I first noticed something was wrong when he KOed. We had just gone past the AH, to either the first or second island, and there shouldn't have been anything to aggro him.

Well, yeah... about that... seems he took that left turn at Albuquerque and went around clockwise, aggroing statues all the way. But he was on THF, and he was able to do all that with only one KO because of Flee. The Death House pull was fun, since everything had already been popped. I saw the 10-minute warning come up two or three times, so we were close on those TEs.

Then I took a bit of a nap with the TV still on. When I woke up, I checked the scrollback. Thanks to that, I was able to ride out the final hour with everyone else in PJ. Good thing I had fireworks already. I would have been much more annoyed in the morning if I had found FFXI simply not responding.

Got to play FFXI for the first time since November!

Got 3x Smn AF3+1 body seals!

Got 2x Smn AF3+1 hand seals!

Got Blu to 90!

I have 353 Traverser Stones! Seriously, how am I gonna use up 353 traverser stones? I have more time than I know what to do with in Abyssea. I foresee alot of questing possibly.

I also have everything done and ready for an OAT Khanda +2 except for 300 cluster kills and 10x ruthven's nails. Need to get on the VNM scene, well, and kill some clusters. A whole TON of inventory is going to be opened up to me once I get those nails.

I have 353 Traverser Stones! Seriously, how am I gonna use up 353 traverser stones?

I have 501 as of just before "Spring Break" began. Since the stones are apparently based on delta time, I should have another couple of dozen when I get back.

I've been using them lately by going in on 2 or 3 stones (up to 117 mins), then soloing Dominion Ops on Ectozoons. By the time I've used up that time, I've had enough of the skilling up.

EDIT: forgot to mention that Friday night I got three TEs on PUP/WHM with Sharpshot frame. I used lolBanish II to get the Azure. When I finish skilling up Kenbishi someday, I'll have him nuke for my initial azure when soloing, but until then it's too much of a pain in the arse to go reconfiguring him all the time.

So I'm going through all the crap I've accumulated, partial stacks of stuff sitting in my mog house and come across a scroll of Refresh I got from doing UO BCNM like 2 years ago. I never really cared about it since Refresh was selling for like 10k at the time, but I go to put it up to clean things up.

And it's selling for 100k now. Which is nice.

Another reason I'm glad I'm not going to be leveling a mage much. Because scroll prices are insane.

Also, I'm annoyed that Blitz Rings are now 600k. I tossed or vendored several of those in the past.

The entire economy changed. I mean its happened before ... but that doesn't stop it from being disorienting. Nearly every expensive item from the 75 times... is about 75% cheaper... and all the low level gear that was ever worth wearing has increased by 200-300%. Its not a huge deal really. Chances are... you're buying the last of something and can pricegouge the next guy when you sell it back.

True that. If you do happen to find/farm/craft a low level item, chances are when you go to sell it you'll make a mint. Simply because there isn't anything out there.

A couple of weeks ago I was making a big list of quests I still haven't done. While making my list I noticed that I still hadn't picked up my Teleport Vahzl scroll. I got mine at the bottom of deflation for 75k, they were maybe 150-200k when I did the quest just before 80 cap, and now they're 500k.

...and the people who can do it are generally still busy leveling / skilling up / upgrading AF3.

Good point. I guess I'll have to work through trial and error to find out what sells and what doesn't. :/

So, accomplishments!

23 WAR, 20 MNK. Working on THF now? I guess. Hoping for some more gil-making. I'm basically kind of stuck. I want to level and level and level, but I have no gil and no gear. So instead I'm trying to farm as I level, which anyone knows doesn't really work too well. Also, annoyingly, this whole illusory chest thing is on my nerves. I was in KRT last night, hoping for some battle gloves for THF and MNK and eventually other jobs, and some 60 THF was running around 1.) Killing the mobs I was exping on, and 2.) Popping the chests. Which meant that even though I had a key, every freaking chest I found was an illusion, because the stupid rules apply to everyone who is interacting with the chests and not just the person popping them for treasure.

I did finally kill Leaping Lizzy the other day. Never got her before, which is something, though not really when you consider that I'd never spent much time camping her. Anyway, I didn't get any boots.

Got DNC from 63-67 on Friday, and MNK from 29-33 on Saturday. We got the last couple of Abyssea zone bosses for someone in our LS who still needed them & managed to get a couple more atmas along the way.

I really need to write out what atmas I have & what they do. Too many choices!

The price of some high-level BLM scrolls are crazy right now. I still need Blizzard IV, Aero IV, and a few of the tier V spells. Even though my RDM is level 63, I still don't have Phalanx. It's consistently 600k now. My husband is now a level 78 WHM, but still doesn't have Raise III. Why? It's a million gil now. A. Million. Gil. I'm pretty sure mine was 5k when I bought it years ago.

Got two trials out of the way and on final trial for my Hagun2.0.
~ Kasha on Vermin tons of times - Boyahda Tree Bark Spiders ... got a bunch of Spider Web and made a bit o' gil with that.
~ Kasha as killshot on Beasts a bunch o' times - Ulegarand Range ... bunch o' tiger fangs/pelts and Snow Geodes got a bit o' gil
~ 130/500 any WS 400dmg or more on Amorphs - Abyssea Worm Party 20/20 merits + lotsa cruor

Finished Meriting until I take another job to 75.

I did it!!! I finally did it. I capped my Puppet Rng skill (374/374). And I am officially impressed with the Rng again.

My buddy decided to level Mnk, so I told him I’ll go solo Colibiri in Aby-Mis coast and he can be my key guy. I wanted to skill up and get cruor. Another LS pup asked if he could tag along and work up his magic skill.

Two 90pups destroyed the place. Entered and killed 3 Murexes for Azure. Started getting TEs roughly 10 minutes after entering. Stopped opening TE chests to save keys after we hit 250+ minutes.

I was using RR/VV/Stout Arm and firing off back-to-back Armor Pierces for upwards of 3500 a pop. Regular non-crit ranged shots were hitting for around 550 everytime. Also got off a 4450 Stringing Pummel (my new high )

I’m guess that Rng Atk caps at some point though (or I just don’t know the formulas that well), because later that night I switched to RR/Stout Arm/Drifter and didn’t see any noticeable difference in damage. None the less, shit was crazy yo.
