It's okay, we all do it. My brain thinks much faster than my fingers move (though they're still pretty fast) so often times I'll get ahead of myself and then when I go back and read it I'm like, "wut."

It happens to me with speech also. I'm talking away and my brain is like " Erm ....... Computer says NO! " then as I'm speaking a verbal "car crash" happens when my words get jumbled and I have to stop and reset before I can carry on. Failing that I'd end up speaking like that guy with the crazy voice in police academy.

Got from 23-25 DNC today in Qufim Island. I can finally use Utsusemi: Ichi and solo the rest of the way to 30!

I also TRIED (operative word there) to help a friend get their Abyssite of Celerity off the Tonberries in K. Highlands. Damn bastards are stubborn with their friggen drop rate. We killed almost 40 of them.

...and yes... she was getting the first hit in every time. I had her Dia pulling them one at a time and then having Garuda take them back off her before she got deaded.

Took you 40 tonberries and still nothing? Thats horrible. I musta been lucky when my friend and I went, both as summons. I got it off the second Tonberry we fought.

Yar. 40 of those bastards. It didn't help matters that the one who needed the abyssite was level 32 and couldn't take a single hit without dying.

I would use "Fleet Wind" to give her faster movement speed and send her in to dia one of them and run back to me and the BST. Even with the increase in speed... she died about 20 times and we didn't really have any way to provoke them off her. After about 20 of them we started getting frustrated and she was running out of time.

With 20 min to spare, we kept the kills going and still got nothing. There were 3 other groups there doing the same thing... it seems they may have made some kind of change to the drop rate. But even that doesn't seem likely since there hasn't been any update or mini update since the day I got mine.

I got mine 1/3

At 40, she timed out and got booted. Good additude about the wasted hour though. We had a good lul about it and plan to try again tomorrow night to see if we have any better luck.

Can anyone tell me if TH works on those drops? If so, I'm asking my THF buddy with TH7 to come with us.

Got Voracious Violet atma when someone in the LS offered to lead an alliance for it, right after doing the zone boss for someone. It went okay except for getting the VV NM's pop item.

The NM that drops that KI for the final NM has to eat one of two other nearby NMs. Leader had been kiting one of the two NMs for about five minutes, then some DNC 90 comes by, gets the other pop NM and jacks the NM we were waiting to repop. And then proceeded to take ten minutes to solo it. Yeah, thanks a lot.

I wish I had Fistule's atma. Unfortunately, nobody except pet jobs are really motivated to get it. So there is 0 interest in my LS.

Anytime we wanted to fight Eve, it was from key items in amber chests. I managed to get a full set once, but it took me in the neighborhood of 5 hours to do so that isn't exactly something I want to do just for Ocelot Gloves.

Anyway, yesterday, got Chimeric Fleuret. Not that I intend to use it much.

I wish I had Fistule's atma. Unfortunately, nobody except pet jobs are really motivated to get it. So there is 0 interest in my LS.

Atma of the Vicissitude? Sounds sexy. I just looked it up. Maybe it's just the fact that I'm a SMN, but I would totally go for that Atma.

Yeah, it's a great tanking atma. I can see why it would be good for a pet job, so I'll have to remember that. (Yes, I did get it.)

The two I still want are RR and whatever it is that Shinryu drops. But nobody goes for that because only the gearhounds keep going back for the rarer Twilight drops, and when you proc red (for the atma), Shinryu goes berserk.

Wiki says the kill shot needs to be of the same element as the current day for best chance of drop. I need to get that one my self one day.

I thought triggering red weakness is the best boost for key items drops of all sorts?

It only works for NMs, so you can't proc red on tonberries.

And red isn't a boost, it sets the drop rate to 100%. Multiple may lower it from there, but I can't remember off-hand.

But, yeah, did that one a while back; was skilling up elemental magic on SCH, so didn't mind the low drop rate.

Yesterday morning I was running through Jeuno on the way to a Besieged about to start and someone was doing an Razed Ruins atma shout. Then after we got the atma, the leader wanted to go for Cloak and Dagger.

Now the only atma left on my "must have" list is Shinryu's with the auto Reraise III, and I mostly want that just because.

Then I did some automaton ranged skillups up in Sky. At first I was just doing more page 1, then I started to fight Light Elementals and was getting better skillups. And I left with over a dozen light clusters.
