Just dinged 361/361 automaton magic skill... the last three points took way too long, and I spent about two hours this evening alone in Beadeaux getting the last 0.9 that I needed. Now I can let myself dump merits on the skill, which will probably come from exp parties that I go into for skillups.

Kenbishi's melee and Ranged skills are still really gimp, at 260/354 and 219/354, but at least I finally got something capped.

Got my first two AF3 legs seals this morning. Unfortunately, they are for SAM and NIN. Two jobs that may never see past 49.

Also, finished getting my crests for the 85-90 limit break, only 3 merits to go.

Last night got Whm from 85 – 89. the party I was in was getting fast xp off bugards in Gras…cept it was so boring because I rarely needed to cure. I didn’t even get to Haste much since we had a smn in the same party Hastagaing. So I pretty much just worked on my Divine skills with Banish, II, III, Flash & Holy. If I’m not too busy tonight I’ll probably hit 90 and cap xp. I need the curor anyway.

May even pickup bard again….been saving seals just incase.

Got a little side tracked yesterday and didn’t get a chance to pop Sedna. My duo partner is on tonight and he needs that zone boss so it’s looking like it will be a duo instead of solo…Either way 2 Bsts duoing Sedna should be interesting. I’ll keep you updated.

Is it mentioned anywhere what a rough percentage is for getting KIs without proc-ing red? In Scar zones it seems like its ~50%. Usually 1-3 kills gets me the KI.
Yesterday was my first time farming KIs in vision zones and I wasn’t having as much luck.

Big night!! My Bst duo buddy jumped on last night and we wasted no time. Goal is to get him his 3rd lunar asap.

All done with 2 Bst/Nins

Popped/killed Sedna
Popped/killed Cireon-Ciron (this was actually to finish his +2 legs)
Got KIs for Briareus
Popped/killed Briareus
Killed Awhondo…no KI

Skilled Katana from 129 to 165 last night killing Tigers in Ulg. Range. I only killed 3 tigers and to get that many skills too. I was a happy camper.

Goals for Saturday:
- Level DNC to 45
- Level THF to 45
- Level NIN to 90

Can I do it all in only 8 hours? No... probably not...
Can I at least get NIN to 90 and do a lot of work on DNC? Abosolutely!

The other night, I got 7 WHM head seals (bringing my total to 7), and 5 BRD head seals (bringing my total to 6). One more night of seal-farming in Vunkerl with my LS should take care of both jobs.

I've been playing on SCH/BST in the dunes the past couple of days, and dinged 27 yesterday.

I noticed quite a few people hanging around the OP yesterday evening, so apparently some people are taking a break from Abyssea, though some may be newbs. And I got people wanting to invite me to their party, but I just wanted to solo at my own pace while watching TV and reading intarwebs.

I found some really nice easy mode in dunes for level 23-26 subbing BST. ( that uncapped Charm) Get page 5, throw leeches against leeches and just stand back and watch. Try to ensure that your leech dies first (not always easy), and if leeches are scarce for some reason, head over to a beach and start throwing pugils at them. One nice part was that I could sneak/invis myself while standing back during the fight to help reduce the chance of gobbie aggro.

Got a Wivre Hairpin with Refresh+1.

It took only...oh, I dunno, 7 hours of soloing Shadow Lizards to get. I'm still amazed I didn't time out, though I did have a brush with it once when I got down to 5 minutes. Steadily managed to build it up back to an hour from then on.

I know its not much, but I finally got a Light Spirit, by myself!

Granted, I got it from the Crimson Coffer, but I felt really lucky and happy about it. So yeah. ^-^

Joined a nice/respectful group the other day doing Mandy/Cactar pops in Aby-Alp. Got 5 Bst hand seals.

Later my bst duo partner hopped on.
-Tried Brulo (Ifrit T3 VNM) with 2 Bsts & Blm but couldn’t get him much past ~25% due to his Blaze Spikes. Looks like it can be easly killed with 2 Blms nuke/kiting.
-Killed Quezlum and got the KI with relative ease.
People started showing up just as we finished so we didn’t get a chance a Bennu.

What job were you on soloing TEs? I’ve gone pup a few times and have been able to *get* TEs but couldn’t keep up. Main issue was holding off on WSing at 50% to avoid Ruby lights.
