Does smn get any elemental WS? it's been a while since i looked at staff/club skills.
I don't recall exactly what ones... but I'm pretty sure we do. I also know we can self skillchain with certain avatar Bps. Its just about timing.

SMN's Mythic WS is Garland of Bliss. It's light elemental just like Primal Rend and Trueflight. Not sure how potent it is by comparison, but gear for it is probably readily available to SMN. Looking MAB, INT, and MND, in that order.

Today I got:

Atma of the Ducal Guard, this thing kicks ass.
Velox Harness, now I got capped Haste on BST without the need to use Sentinel Shield or Blitz Ring.

Successfully solo'd Cirein-Croin on Bst (along with the 2 KI NMs).

Was a little slow (~ 40 minutes) and by far not the most efficient way but...if I wanted to be efficient I would have leveled MNK or something.

Pretty easy to do. I've now been duoing with another Bst friend and it takes ~25 minutes to kill. Plan is I get the Jewels first while he takes stones (for pup) and then switch off. Luckily we haven’t had many people complaining.

We've been trying to find a blm friend for procing but didn’t have much luck. So far...
I'm 4/6 on jewels
He's 3/6 on stones

I agree, this is by far my favorite Atma on bst. stack it with 2 -PDT axes, -PDT head, Shep chain and legs+1. Then throw on Razed Ruin and Mounted Champ (or vicisstue) and you have one insane Sheep.

Thats how i solo'd the fish. but with leech instead of sheep.

Being able to play three out of the last four days. Big accomplishment after the last two months.

I even think I'll be able to join an Abyssea party again soon.

FTFY. Cirein's TP moves are too damaging to straight tank him without support, however BLM can just gravity nuke him all day.

Killed Bennu for Altepa clear and Atma of Ascending One
Killed Sedna for Vunkerl clear but no atma.
3rd lunar abyssite
Killed Flame Skimmer for cruor stat enhancement increasing abyssite
Killed Deelgeed got Atma of the Horned Beast and to pop Azdaja
Killed Azdaja got Atma of Winged Gloom
Killed Kutharei for Atma of the Mounted Champion and 2nd caturae win
Unkai Sune-ate +1

Soloed Ovni, got Augur's Jaseran.
Soloed Ironclad Executioner a few times. Didn't "solo" the time it dropped Pluviale...had a WHM come to get blue !! stagger on it.

BST is an awesome job again...

Fasto Fargann begs to differ. Only support he needed was 2 Petfood Zetas.
Ironically though i do have blm leveled. But Bst is much more fun imo.

Finished my Ferine Legs+2 over the weekend. got a kill fish a couiple more times for a buddy then were moving to another area...probably Vunk.

o-O what pet was he using? I've seen Cirein one-shot people.


I guess if you had Ducal Guard on that would probably go a long ways towards your pets surviving the fight, even post-nerf.

If by ‘he’ you mean me. I was using Fasto Fargann (leech jug)

Also just took out Iku-Turso and Hrosshvalur with my eyes closed. I’ll let you know tonight how my Sedna solo goes.

3/5 on my BST +2, getting hands done tonite... BST...Dipper Yuly + evasion axes = FTGDMFW.

While this combo is pretty amazing...IMO it does not compare to the pet: -pdt set and the right atmas.

None the less, congrats! always love seeing Bst accomplishments

Got NIN to 72 over the weekend. Katana and Evasion are gimp as all hell. I need to level DNC from 12 to 45 so that I can solo in Vollbow to get my skills back up. 107 Katana and 95 Evasion for the lul.

I've been a career SMN since I started. Before I unlocked SMN, I played a WHM. My whole goal in life was to never get hit. The only Eva skill I got was from that short time I spent playing as COR getting it to 52. Besides that, I got a few bumps here and there when I took AoE damage I couldn't avoid... and from the occasions that my avatars got eat-ed and I got my ass handed to me.

Thats the only way it got accumulated this whole time. In all reality, I should have worked on it a long time ago... but I didn't.
