Beat Shinryu last night, got the abyssite. Now I can brew stuff all on my own.


Now if only I had something I could brew. REALLY wish I could farm the pops for the NMs that drop the +2 items I want.

Finished BRD and WHM +1 bodies and in the process got some stearc subligar with Refresh +1 augment! Also managed to snag Augur's Jaseran off of Ovni.

Took my 66BLM to Abyssea for my LS's weekly exp night -- and got it all the way to 74. Then got it to 75 on Saturday doing Bastion & Dominion.

BLM hadn't even really been on my radar for taking much higher ... but then it clicked in my brain that I had 19 merits to spend & not much in my other high-level jobs upon which to spend them. I now know all 6 AM2 spells. I'm eager to keep going with BLM. It's fun!

Friday/Saturday was the first time I had done Bastion. Now I have enough credits for two pairs of pants & I'm more than halfway to a third pair. I'm going to hold off on buying the pants until I have enough seals to upgrade them, though. Even with the Mog Sack & the storage moogle, space is at a bit of a premium.

THF feet and legs are both 6/8 seals. I'd really like to see a /sh for farming head seals .. but they never happen unless I've already signed on for something else.

Got one of my campaign medals back... think I have only 2 more to go before I'm back to Altana. Ez to do since on my DNC I get around 3-4k exp and around 2k A.N. each battle. 90 DNC in campaign is almost cheating.

Boss clear for Attohwa done. Worst alliance leader ever though. If he /sh's for anything again... I'm not taking it no matter how much I may want to do w/e run it is. He was such a pathetic asshole. Such a jerk to everyone during the run. Blamed all of his failings on the alliance. We needed to farm the chigoe KI and he didn't understand mob placement when kiting a mob that spams petrify-ga... He was only in it for the AF3 +2 items on the zone boss and attempting to proc the !! wiped the alliance twice since he forgot to get anyone witha GS. While the whole alliance was weakened someone had to go and change while the leader berated everyone. He had a /Nin friend who claimed that his Ninjutsu blinding enfeeble actually landed. My buddy and I did not see it land. I have a hard time believing a /Nin enfeeble landed on a mob that high in level... The guy suckt as a tank as well... think he was THF but wasn't sure. I was just a measly SAM waiting for the {Full Attack} and trying to stay outta the bosses -aga range.

I got up to Dungeon's and Dancers in the WotG storyline in the Windurst path. Duo'd a bunch of the fights with my BLM buddy while I was on DNC. DNC is quite an amazing tank now. I'm not even sure sometimes that I need /NIN for shadows cuz of my healing ability is so amazing. Timers are the only problem. I'm really loving the action-packed CSs for WotG. The Cait Sith(s?) fighting was hilarious. We (BLM, DRG, me DNC) made it to actually fighting the Cait Sith ... got it down to 33% rather easily then got Firega'd to death... hit us each for just under 1200 dmg and we were all sitting at just over 1100 /sigh. (well... cept the Taru BLM, lol)

Oh... and sorry guys and (some) gals... Lilisette asked me to marry her. The, indeed, future looks in fabulous.

I got Shinryu done with Romyro over the weekend, got the atma and now cheap brews. Brewed it once on MNK after that, procced blue and got cape/belt/torque. Wanted the belt/torque/body so pretty good. Finished a few more pieces of AF3, also got WAR to 90 so gonna start Fell Cleaving eventually.

Went to Beadeaux to skill up Kenbishi's magic on cursna. I now know what the summoners are bitching about. Skill-ups past 80 cap are painfully slow. I want a Martial Master week already! But I managed to get him up to 332/361, so I'm getting close.

Then I went up to Sky to work on automaton ranged skill when someone in LS said there was a Durinn shout. I was like hell yeah, and popped my warp scroll even though I was at 3/3 sprinkers 0/8 flamingoes.

So now I have Minikin Monsrosity. I still have RR and VV on my list, and still want Shinryu's atma, but I wanted MM the most. MM+Full Moon = 15mp refresh, so I really will be "made of MP" after all. (On the matter of Shinryu's atma, on one run I and others learned you don't proc red before you proc blue, because he goes nuts after red, and on another run someone's brew got wasted due to Paralyze!)

I went back to skilling up Kenbishi. I'm still concerned that 208 (approx lv 61) is a bit low for flamingoes, but eventually I'll hit that "sweet spot" skill-up range. And I'm getting more tabs from this, though at 25k+ tabs, I'm hardly hurting for them. Still, it's nice not having to watch for the one shout I need in the sea of seal hounds. If I can at least get Kenbishi to 75-cap skills, then I can move up to something else.

Yeah, I'm having fun just kiciking back and skilling up for a while. At some point I need to break my Pick of Trials, and that should be fun when I'm ready to BST/PUP for self chains in Garbaige.

EDIT: Hmm, just thought about what MM+FM would mean as PUP... 15MP refresh for the automaton could be nice.

90 DNC in campaign is almost cheating.

I'm pretty sure 90 DNC is just cheating in general.

In unrelated news I've been seeing a lot of Charybdis in SSG lately, probably due to the fact that I can't yet equip a Joyeuse. But hey, at least I got to help someone in the LS get one. She's apparently been trying to get one for years but people kept running out on her after they got their drop.

Perhaps it's self-serving in its own way, but it feels really good to help someone else get their shinies before you get your own.

Got a new highest xp in one campaign battle... and I wasn't there from the start and it wasn't even over by the time I had to go to bed. The dogs had invaded E.Ron and I solo'd one on DNC for what musta been an hour.... 6100+ xp.

/sigh...i went solo twice on Bst and lost both times. 400k curor down the drain.
First time as a test run with my fingers crossed. Second time was much better but i think what would have been my last WS Cured him instead of damaged.

Not sure if atmas matter all that much when brewing but i went Bst/Blm with MAB atmas and my Primal Rends were hitting for ~15,000 per shot (or curing for ~30,000 )

Such a ripoff that Brews dont work on SMN's Avatars. I feel like I'm left out of the party.

Doenst work for jugs either. I'm pretty sure Primal Rend (axe mythic WS) is the only one that will work for Bst. i dont remember my exact rampage damage but i do know it was roughly half (if not less) than Primal Rend. Did a Deciamtion too in hopes for a blu proc and that was ~3k only

Does smn get any elemental WS? it's been a while since i looked at staff/club skills.
