I won't condemn anyone for using either program either.

One accomplishment for me that happened a while ago kinda along this windower/spellcaster train of thought was that I finally figured out how to make gear macros swap out way more pieces by traveling around the macro set... I had no idea how to swap like that until I read a SMN guide about it. When I told my LS... a bunch of casters said, "You're such a melee player, lol"

But now I run into so many people that don't even swap gear... they say it's annoying. Is it as annoying as losing to a mob by 1-2% though? Swapping to the appropriate gear coulda made that 1-2% if not more.

Idk... I'll try and find it on wiki again. It was really really long and in depth about swapping macro sets to fit which avatar and such.

Only thing I've added on wiki was that after the lvl cap was lifted for CoP areas, I solo'd my Swift Belt on a ... 55-60THF/nin, lol. Everyone else was posting they solo'd on 75's and such... well, duh people!!!

You mean condemn? Condone means support so you're essentially saying you're not going to support people who use either programs. Unless that's what you mean.

Ah, never noticed the "fixed" in his post.

Are you having fun in FFXI again? I never really played SMN so there's nothing I really miss from that game. Oh ... maybe questing for subjob items. I think that was both a pain in the ass and also one of the more memorable experiences from that game. Stuff like that ... you can never forget.

Edit: I think the most painful experience was farming for testimonies (?) for the Maat level cap quests. I think I've lost every freaking roll for the RDM one during my time to every non-RDM (and not a single EXP party had the courtesy to pass it to me, the RDM) Part of the reason why I quit ... the asshats on Hades.

Im actually having a lot of fun back in FFXI. I may or may not return to FFXIV some time in the future... or bounce between the 2 games indefinately. I still log onto FFXIV from time to time and grind my WVR for shits and giggles... but thats it.

SMN is a blast now. Im having a ton of fun. I convinced a friend of mine to return to the game and he and I are heading up our own little static. I missed XI so damn much...

Just one thing, the RDM testimony is easily soloed. I never asked for help for mine.

~Farmed 2 pop sets for The Atma of the Velocious Violet with my LS outta chests last night.

~Ended up lotting a ring that was -3Phys/Magical Dmg

~Got 16-17 Merits in the process

~Finished DNC merits (edit)

~Put up some amazing numbers(5-5.5k) self skillchaining w/ Stout Arm/AlphaOmega Atmas and then One-shotted a Dybbrek that aggro'd me while exploring afterward for 3166dmg with a Gekko when I was exploring after.

~I have 575k Cruor. I'm accruing cruor at a ridiculous rate these days. I have nothing to spend it on yet since I don't need "Brew". I've also been fairly broke lately. I realized spending about 50k cruor on Perle and Teal armor that I don't need and NPC'n it yields about 60k + gil (6-7k/pc).

I don't know what to spend my newfound gil upon, lol. I could upgrade from my Ruby Ring but +2 STR just doesn't seem exciting enough.. could get something to use besides my Ulthalem Ring for my DNCorTHF like the Heed ring(+3acc/eva, Subtle blow +7) or maybe upgrade to a better evasion cape than my Bat cape or finally get a Peacock Charm but I think I can find better neck peices these days... I just don't know, lol.

Ran into Romyro in P. Jeuno then also realized Clever Ninja (Cleverness) was chilling right behind me... it was like a DiV meeting on Hades/Cerberus, lol.

Yup.. cuz we got true "job trait" Treasure Hunter III at lvl 90 and I have a Thief Knife, lol... but still need AA's and looking forward to the AF3 feet +2 giving me TH 3.3 if I ever get them AA's.

I'm only 2/7 zone bosses. Idk about the aliens though... they those weird demon things that look like they should be a Alice Cooper concert set piece that look to be attacking you from a toilet?
