I just realized how lucky I am to be in the dynamis and abyssea groups I'm in (two seperate groups, only 2-3 people in both). First, we're getting ready to do Dyna Sandy after 2 weeks off for the person running it to move cross country. Literally 2 minute before the glass was cracked I got a tell from someone in my Abyssea group asking simply "How fast can you get here". Turns out, PUP feet had just dropped, which I've been looking for since AF3 came out. A quick subjob/warp/maw tele and I got in with 1 minute left on the drop timer. I didn't even have to do anything for it, just lot and leave once it dropped (I also made out with a khroma leather which happened to drop to me). What's even more awesome is that everyone in the Dynamis party were incredibly relaxed about it -- nobody threw up a fuss, most didn't even ask why I left so suddenly.

So, now I have all my AF3 gear I can get NQ or better for BRD and PUP (4x +1 and 2x NQ). When I got back to Sandy and into Dyna, one piece of relic right off the bat. Over the course of the entire run, 15 relics dropped, of which I got 11 (all of which were thrown away because nobody wanted), including 3 RNG and 1 RDM. We also managed to clear the entire zone except for maybe a dozen statues, which is considerably farther than we've ever gotten before, and we did it with only 15 people. I seem to remember doing Sandy with two full alliances and barely getting the clear not too long ago. We can only guess how it's going to go after December and every is at the 99 level cap.

Oh yeah, and our first Dynamis Tavnazia in two weeks. I'm hoping we get the same turnout we had today so we won't have to keep some people from entering and still get tons of gear/clear.

Finally got my EMP Bst legs+1. A great piece since it cleared up about 3 inventory spaces. Put my regular AF+1 legs, Askir Dirs and my Kitty pants (which I might take back out) in storage

Goal is to have all +1s for Bst/Smn/Pup before the update. Got 4 our 9 so far. Only actual piece I’m missing is pup feet (KoZ you lucky SOB). I’m trying to force Cleverninja and his shell to drop everything they are doing and farm them for me…but not having much luck.

I think I’m done questing for seals. Thank gawd too because I was about to punch my computer because of the Cookbook quest. And what’s the deal with NM pop item drops? Was it changed at some point? I remember killing lizards for Molten Scraps and they were about a 50% drop. Now their like 10% if were lucky…

And last but not least, saw the coolest Bst ever…brought a tear to my eye. He had both Ferine accessories (Back & Neck), all 3 EMP+2s, and some pretty pieces in the other slots. Think he said he was about halfway to a Farsha (axe). Oh top of all that…he was a nice guy and answered some of my questions.

As I said, I was incredibly lucky to get those feet. I've been trying to farm them for a number of weeks whenever I was on. I would say I've put in a good 20-30 hours of farming in total (not much, but a lot when you consider I only play on weekends) and this was the first pair I saw.

I'm also considering myself done with questing seals: I quested my entire BRD and PUP head +1s which truthfully weren't so bad, and PUP leg +1s when they first came out (no bombs near the fire, so I was able to cook stacks upon stacks of sausage at one time). I have one PUP seal for my feet which I got from the linkshell quest (very lucky since I only did that quest once), but that takes a while to find the items -- not to mention the friend you pick up doing so. BRD feet is the bridge repair, and the spittle is EX -- not something I care enough to farm, especially 2-5 per quest repeat.

I managed to finish my BRD +1 legs through the Murex quest (was 7/8 from NMs), but I still had to go through 4 stacks of spicules to do so. Very expensive at 150k a stack.

20 hours or 800 hours…I’m still /jealous of you because you have them and i don't (please gwad don’t make it take me 800 hours ><).

Is it sad that I might finish leveling Brd (lvl 74) or even Blm (lvl 80) only to get seals for Bst/Pup/Smn?
Blm is kinda fun but I pretty much Manaburned it to 75 (BEFORE ABYSSEA MIND YOU) so I’d probably be the odd ball in a group.
And Brd…well, fuk Brd. I’ve always hated it. It is now my Mazruka mule for traveling and quests. It used to be 75 and almost capped xp. Now it’s 74 and like 12k/42k (dispite what my signature says)

Yesterday morning I was helping a new guy (new as in "no subjob yet") on the final leg of getting from Windurst to dunes... via Jeuno. So we got into the dunes, got to oasis, and then I see a ghoul. I'm thinking "something about this is wrong". Then I realize it's because ghouls are damn hard to just run across in dunes. Then I remember the reason I know that is because they drop the Magicked Skull. So I sicced Kenbishi on him and... sure enough, he dropped the skull.

And last night after a triple-fail Nyzul, someone in the LS started a ToAU 44 run, so now I'm -2 inventory until I talk to Naja one more time, then I'm -3 inventory.

Well…I did it. I broke down and leveled Blm last night. Not gonna lie, it was quite fun killing worms in Aby-La Thiene. Stayed longer than I should have (was up kinda late) but ended up going from 78-85 and about 7 merits (bout 5 hours). By the low 80s I was getting 610xp/120cruor per kill and that was just too hard to pass up. First time I’ve ever gotten that high.

Good news is I got Blm to 85 and will probably come in handy.
Bad news is now I need to work on my skills. I was capped on everything at 75 but probably way off now.
More bad news is I’ll probably have to merit it now ><.
Even more bad news is that I’m pretty much a Teal Blm with the exception of I guess zenith mitts. I’ll need to upgrade my very basic gear.
Even more super bad news…I probably should level Rdm for a sub…been sitting at 15 for years.
/sigh, was this really a good idea lol?

The crew is ready for "At Journey's End"--Windurst quest 13 (post Altana Mission 38). We should be finishing up the end of the existing Altana missions by the end of this weekend, and thus ready for the new missions (as we catch up on Bastok and San d'Oria quest lines).

Oh, and Bastok rank 10, to boot. Yes! Finally moving back to Windurst!

Next mission agenda will be A Shantotto Ascension. Hope it's good stuff.

Finally finished WoTG mission 18. And Windurst took Gustaberg this week, completing the last outpost warp that I needed for all three nations.

On the other side of the world, Nyzul was a bitch again, and my static went 0/3 this week. Thank you Vile Ineef, Puddings, and the lamps at the far end of a long level, with two undead NMs camping one of them.

Someone in LS wanted a Nyzul body armor run, and I was on 75, so I went for one tag. I have a static on Mondays, and this was cutting it close for the 4th tag, but I got the tag more than 24 hours before we can finish 3 runs so it should be okay.

Not only did I get a clear to floor 80, but a Werebuster finally dropped, which I've been wanting for a long time. Now I have a Nyzul weapon for each of my 75+ jobs (though BLM is kind of meh) and I'm at 880 WS per weapon.
